Pontoon Beach, IL (September 28, 2007) Billy Faust of Lebanon, Illinois claimed the final Super Late Model event of the 2007 racing season at Tri-City Speedway as he dominated the main event. Billy Faust led all twenty-five laps as he claimed his seventh feature victory of the 2007 season at Tri-City Speedway! Billy Faust jumped out to the lead at the drop of the green flag as he raced past pole sitter Terry Babb. On lap ten, the second and third place cars of Chad Zobrist and Mark Oller would tangle and spin exiting turn two. Chad Zobrist would pull off the speedway after the incident and Mark Oller was forced to restart at the rear and was later caught up in another incident when Terry Babb spun. Billy Faust only real challenge for the lead came mid-way through the event when Mark Faust pulled along side by using the high-side. Billy Faust, who had been running the very bottom, realized the faster line was around the top and moved up in front of Mark Faust on the top side. Billy Faust proceeded to pull away in the closing laps to earn the victory. Mark Faust would finish second. Michael Kloos was finish in the third position with Frankie Martin coming home fourth and Billy Laycock completed the top five.

Tommie Seets, Jr. of Brighton, Illinois picked up his first win of the 2007 racing season at Tri-City Speedway in the Modified division. Seets was the class of the field as led all twenty laps of the main event and went relatively unchallenged for the lead. Ray Walsh would finish a strong second but could never get close enough to Seets to mount a challenge. Brandon Lennox of New London, Missouri had his best run ever at Tri-City Speedway as he finished third in the main event after winning his qualifying heat race and the dash earlier in the night. Eric Faust stormed through the field to a fourth place finish after starting way back in the seventeenth starting position. Faust charge toward the front also earned him the STLRacing.com Hard Charger Award of $200. Steve Meyer, Jr. made a last turn pass on Justin Reed to complete the top five.

Rylan Dagg of Wayne City, Illinois claimed his second Crate American Racing Series Late Model feature win of 2007 at Tri-City Speedway. Dagg battled early on with Casey Montague, but pulled away to victory in the closing laps. Daniel Heck would finish third behind Montague with Aaron Heck finishing fourth and Ron Sensel was fifth.

Danny Ems of Arnold, Missouri got his first win of 2007 at Tri-City Speedway in the Street Stock division. It was a two car battle for the lead as Ems and Jason Zobrist battled it out for all fifteen laps. Zobrist would have to settle for a second place finish with Michael Jeffries taking third, Todd Erickson fourth and Brett Clardy fifth.

Chris Fisher continued his great 2007 racing season in the Factory Stock class. It was Fisher's third win in just five visits to Tri-City Speedway in 2007. Fisher of Festus, Missouri was also the track champion at I-55 Raceway in this division. David Shaw kept the pressure on Fisher the entire distance, but Fisher was too strong around the bottom and picked up the victory. T.J. Eilers would get the third spot with Cody Conner finishing fourth and Trevor Isaac fifth.

Pontoon Beach, IL (September 22, 2007) Sixty-seven UMP DIRTcar Modifieds were on hand for the 3rd Annual Modified Mania at Tri-City Speedway to do battle for the $5,000 top prize. Some of the top modified shoes from throughout the Midwest were on hand Chad Kinder of Newton, Illinois got things kicked off on the right foot by setting fast time in qualifying with a new track record for modifieds with a time of 17.145 seconds.

There were seven qualifying heat races on tap with the top two finishers from each heat race earning a starting spot in the main event. The first heat race was one by Chad Kinder in convincing fashion. Scott Weber just edged Robbie Eilers to claim the second spot. In the second heat race, it was Tim Hancock picking up the win with Kyle Byerline finishing second. The third heat was won by Bobby Bittle as he held off the hard charging Danny Schwartz who finished second. The fourth heat was claimed by Gabe Menser as he charged past Tom Seets, Sr. to win by a nose. Matt Mevert claimed the fifth heat race with Mark Miner picking up the second spot. The sixth heat race went to Jeff Leka over Bobby Martintoni. The seventh heat was won by Mike Harrison with Matt Goulden taking second.

The top two finishers from four B-Main events also advanced to the main event. Robbie Eilers claimed the first B-Main over Chad Sellers. The second B-Main was won by Ed Shamhart with Kevin Weaver taking second. Late Model ace Don O'Neal won the third B-Main with Randall Sweeney earning the second spot. The fourth B-Main was won by Marty Smith, Jr. with Ray Walsh taking second.

The non-qualifier features were won by Bobby Regot III and Timmy Hill.

Chad Kinder sat on the pole position for the start of the main event courtesy of his fast time and victory in the first heat race. Kinder wasted no time jumping out to the lead as the green flag fell to start the forty lap feature. Tim Hancock, who won the King of the Hill Dash the night before, continued his great weekend as he mounted a challenge on Kinder using the low side. It wouldn't take long for Mike Harrison of Highland, Illinois to join the battle for the lead as he sprinted towards the front from his seventh place starting position. Harrison would take over the lead on lap eleven and set a scorching pace. As the laps began to wind down, Matt Mevert began to work his way toward the front as well. Mevert would move past Kinder with five laps remaining to take over the third spot behind Harrison and Hancock. It became a three-way battle for the lead on the final lap with Harrison on the top and Hancock and Mevert on the bottom. As they came out of turn four to take the checkered flag, Harrison powered off the top side to take the victory. Mevert got underneath Hancock and just held edged out Hancock to take second. Kinder would finish fourth behind Hancock and Scott Weber completed the top five.

Pontoon Beach, IL (September 22, 2007) Shannon Babb of Mowequa, Illinois tasted victory for the first time in new Bob Pierce Race Cars chassis late model during the Fed Ex 50 at Tri-City Speedway. Babb started on the pole for the main event with Lebanon, Illinois' Billy Faust on the outside of the front row. At the drop of the green flag, it was Billy Faust jumping out front and pacing the field at a blistering pace. Shannon Babb gave chase, dropping back as far as ten car lengths in the early stages of the 50 lap event. As the leaders raced into lapped traffic, Shannon Babb closed in on Billy Faust for the lead. On lap fifteen, Shannon Babb found an opening and swept passed Billy Faust and into the lead. Shannon Babb set a scorching pace as he went on to lap all but ten cars on the 3/8 mile surface. Billy Faust never lost site of the leader and made it interesting in the closing laps as they raced through the lapped cars. However, Shannon Babb proved too tough and claimed the $10,000 top prize in the Fed Ex 50. Billy Faust would earn second with Billy Moyer fininshing third. Rodney Melvin would race to a fourth place finish with Randy Korte completing the top five.

Pontoon Beach, IL (September 14, 2007) Tri-City Speedway hosted their Season Championship Night in which Champions for the 2007 racing season were crowned in all five divisions. There were 140 race cars on hand in the five divisions to compete in the night's events. In the Late Model division, Bryan Collins of Elsberry, Missouri started the night with a slim nine point lead in the championship point standings over Mark Faust. Collins was able to secure the championship with a dominating performance as he stormed to his fourth victory of the 2007 season at Tri-City Speedway. Collins led all twenty-five laps of the main event and was mostly unchallenged for the win. Billy Faust was able to get close to Collins while they were in heavy lapped traffic, but once Collins cleared the lapped cars, he pulled away and earned a convincing victory. Billy Faust took second, Tim Manville crossed the line in third with Rick Salter taking fourth and Rusty Griffaw rounded out the top five.

Marty Smith, Jr. of Troy, Illinois claimed the Modified Championship with his second place finish in the main event. Bobby Martintoni, who started the night just twelve points behind Smith, jumped to the early lead in the main event. Smith faded all the way back to fifth in the early laps. After falling back, Smith moved to the top and came flying to the front. Just three laps after moving to the top, Smith took the lead from Martintoni. Mike Harrison went to the top as well after watching Smith go by him. Harrison followed Smith past Martintoni and into the second position. The two raced nose to tail around the top with Martintoni challenging around the bottom. As they reached lapped traffic, Harrison made a strong move through the middle of the track to sweep past Smith and several lapped cars to take the lead. Harrison would hold on and take the win with Smith finishing second and Martintoni third. Tim Hancock would finish fourth and Kyle Byerline completed the top five.

Nick Lyons of Centralia, Illinois wrapped up the championship in the CARS Late Model division with his seventh victory of the 2007 season at Tri-City Speedway. Lyons led all twenty laps of the main event as Rylan Dagg tried to mount a challenge by using the middle groove. But as the laps went by, his line began to go away. Mark Oller, who started in the middle of the pack, raced his way toward the front and moved past Dagg with three laps remaining to take over the second spot, but ran out of laps to chase down Lyons. Ron Sensel also got by Dagg in the closing laps to finish third. Dagg would finish fourth with Casey Montague completing the top five.

Josh Jackson of South Roxana, Illinois also wrapped up the Street Stock Championship with a victory. It was Jackson's fourth victory of the 2007 season at Tri-City Speedway. Tommy Gegg battled with Jackson for most of the event for the top spot, but had to settle for the second spot. Sam Kizer would finish third, with Jim Bell fourth and Ricky Huebner fifth.

Ryan Eilers of Highland, Illinois earned the Factory Stock Championship. Eilers battled fiercly with Chris Fisher in the main event as the two raced side-by-side lap after lap. Fisher would edge out Eilers at the finish line to steal a little of the thunder from Eiler's championship clinching event. David Shaw would finish third with Aaron Wood fourth and Conrad Miner completed the top five.
