Evansville, IN (December 21, 2005) Officials at DIRT MotorSports™ UMP Division have overhauled the point system used to determine the UMP National, Regional & State Champions in their Super Late Model and Modified divisions. The three new divisions sanctioned by UMP, the Sportsman, Street Stock & B-Modified classes, will also utilize the same point system. A brief explanation of the point system is listed below.

For more information on UMP, please contact the UMP office at 812-426-1200 or visit www.umpracing.com.

IN 2006 THE POINTS FOR LATE MODELS AND MODIFIEDS WILL CHANGE.

BOTH CLASSES WILL START ON THE 1st FRIDAY IN APRIL.

SUPER LATE MODELS WILL COUNT THEIR BEST 50 FINISHES. MODIFIEDS WILL COUNT THEIR BEST 30 FINISHES. SPORTSMAN, STREET STOCKS AND B-MODIFIEDS WILL COUNT THEIR BEST 20 FINISHES.

WHEN A DRIVERS GETS 50/30/20 RACES RECORDED THEN HE WILL START REPLACING RACES, WHAT THIS MEANS IS IF YOU FINISH 20th ONE NIGHT AND ON YOUR 51/31/21 RACE YOU WIN WE WILL PULL OUT YOUR 20th PLACE FINISH AND REPLACE IT WITH YOUR WIN.

WE WILL HAVE A BASE POINT SYSTEM THAT WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL TRACKS. BELOW IS AN EXPLANATION OF THE SYSTEM.

IF A TRACK HAS 20 OR LESS CARS THEY WILL RECEIVE THE BASE POINTS, BUT FOR EVERY CAR YOU HAVE OVER 20 YOU WILL RECEIVE BONUS POINTS. THE BONUS POINT ARE 1 POINT EXTRA FOR EVERY CAR YOU HAVE IN THAT DIVISION OVER 20. SO IF YOU HAVE 20 ENTRIES, THEN THE WINNER GETS 60 POINTS, IF YOU HAVE 32 ENTRIES THEN THE WINNER GETS 60 + 12 BONUS POINTS FOR A TOTAL OF 72 POINTS. EVERY CAR IN THE FEATURE THAT NIGHT WILL RECEIVE 12 EXTRA POINTS. ANY CAR THAT DOES NOT MAKE FEATURE WILL RECEIVE 10 POINTS REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY CARS ARE THERE.

REPLACEMENT RACES ARE BASED ON WHERE YOU FINISH, NOT ON HOW MANY CARS ARE THERE. WE WILL PUT A CAP ON POINTS; THE MOST POINTS A FEATURE WINNER CAN GET WILL BE 90 POINTS.

NASCAR STARS DALE EARNHARDT, JR., AND KEN SCHRADER USHER IN A NEW ERA AT PADUCAH INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

PADUCAH, KY (November 26, 2005) – NASCAR Nextel Cup racers Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Ken Schrader along with well known Midwestern promoter Bob Sargent are now the proud owners of Paducah International Raceway. The trio recently finalized their purchase of the popular McCracken County, KY, venue that boasts a 3/8-mile high-banked clay oval, 1/5-mile race track and a Motocross/TT run with grandstands that accommodate 5,000 spectators.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr., boasts a name synonymous with speed.  The popular pilot of the #8 Budweiser Chevy in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series is a newcomer to the dirt racing scene but he was fascinated by the mud-slingin’, full-throttle excitement that he witnessed at Ken Schrader’s I-55 Raceway.  In addition to his racing prowess, Earnhardt, Jr., is also co-owner of the NASCAR Busch Series’ championship team, Chance2 Motorsports, and founder of JR Motorsports.  PIR is his first foray into dirt racing and track ownership.  Earnhardt, Jr., is looking forward to this new venture and is excited about the opportunities and growth in the Paducah area and is eager to be involved in the dirt track industry.

NASCAR Nextel Cup veteran Ken Schrader will race anything with wheels from his new ride in the #21 Little Debbie Snacks/U.S. Air Force Ford in NASCAR’s premier division to his self-owned rides in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR Grand National West Division and ARCA RE/MAX Series.  Schrader also owns a dirt late model that he has wheeled in twenty-three states from California to Florida during the 2005 season.  In addition to PIR, Schrader is the co-owner of another dirt track – I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO.  Schrader is also enthusiastic about returning to the Paducah area throughout 2006 for various appearances and events at the raceway.

Conveniently located off of I-24 in Paducah, the track hosts the most popular touring sanctions from the AMA motorcycles to various 700+ horsepower super late model series.  Paducah International Raceway will also host prominent special events including the Tri-Track Challenge, U.M.P. Summernationals and the track’s annual banner event – “The Wayne Coakley/Bob Memmer Memorial ‘World 50’”.  Racing action will take place at PIR every Friday night during a seven-month season from March through September and will feature U.M.P. Super Late Models, U.M.P. Modifieds, Crate Late Models and Pure Street Stocks.  Additional divisions including quads, 4-cylinder hornets and mini-sprints will also compete on a limited schedule.

Exciting changes are in store for Paducah International Raceway and the management and staff of PIR look forward to combining the fan-friendly, grassroots racing excitement of dirt racing with the entertaining atmosphere of NASCAR into a unique experience that fans will only be able to obtain at Paducah International Raceway.  Schedules and additional plans will be finalized during the off-season and announcements will be made after the new year.

An informational rules meeting for the upcoming 2006 racing season will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at the American Legion Post #31 from 1pm-4pm.   The Legion is located at 425 Legion Drive in Paducah, KY.  The meeting will address rules and schedules for participating divisions as well as a question and answer session for competitors.

FROM TRACK ENTERPRISES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ken Schrader, USAC, ARCA, WoO and UMP Highlight Auto Racing at Illinois and
DuQuoin State Fairs

The appearance of NASCAR's Ken Schrader highlights a busy year of auto
racing at both of the state fairgrounds in Illinois, a schedule that kicks
into high gear during the month of August, according to promoter Bob Sargent
of Track Enterprises in Macon, Illinois.  Corporate America also becomes
involved at both fairs as Best Western Hotels takes on sponsorship of the
Allen Crowe Memorial at Springfield, as well as an associate sponsorship for
the remaining events.

Sargent, the promoter at both the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield
and the DuQuoin State Fair in Southern Illinois, has released a six race
slate that features variety, tradition and speed in the motor sports
entertainment lineup of both fairs. The six races are split evenly among the
two fairground dirt miles, with Springfield hosting two days of racing
during the Illinois State Fair and one in September, while DuQuoin has two
nights and one day of racing during the run of the DuQuoin State Fair.

Traditional one mile dirt track auto racing gets underway in Springfield on
Saturday, August 20 with the 45th Tony Bettenhausen 100 for the USAC Weld
Racing Silver Crown Series.  Springfield drivers Justin Allgaier and Donnie
Lehmann could be part of a strong Illinois stable of drivers that attempts
to make the Illinois State Fair championship race, an event that celebrates
it's 7lst anniversary.   Leading the USAC stars is three time and defending
Bettenhausen 100 winner, Dave Darland, and current USAC Silver Crown point
leader Dave Steele.  The forty plus drivers expected for the 2005 running of
the Bettenhausen 100 will be trying for a place alongside names like Foyt,
Mays, Bettenhausen, Andretti and Unser as championship race winners on the
Springfield Mile. Interest in the 2006 Bettenhausen 100 perked up in the
past two weeks with the announcement that the entire 2006 USAC Silver Crown
Series schedule would be televised on the Outdoor Channel!  Such a telecast
would mark the first time in over twenty years that the Bettenhausen 100
would be on national television.

Stock cars invade Springfield's gumbo clay the very next day, with the ARCA
RE/MAX Stock Car Series stars ready for battle in the 43rd Best
Western-Allen Crowe Memorial 100. Best Western Hotels comes on board as
title sponsor of the Crowe Memorial as Justin Allgaier of Springfield tries
to become just the second driver in the 95 year history of motor racing at
the Illinois State Fairgrounds to win both the championship and stock car
events on the same weekend, the other driver being Hall of Fame member Al
Unser. Allgaier will face stiff competition, as defending ARCA champ Frank
Kimmel attempts the impossible, winning five Crowe trophies and breaking the
tie between himself, Bob Keselowski and the late Dean Roper. And, defending
Crowe 100 winner Bill Baird, the oldest race winner in Illinois State Fair
history, is expected to shun retirement once again to run the 100 mile
distance.

Accompanying the ARCA stock cars on the last Sunday of the Illinois State
Fair will be the 12th annual Wynn's Sportsman challenge, the big event for
the local sportsman cars. The defending winner is Steve Sheppard, Jr. of New
Berlin, Illinois.

The auto racing world shifts 150 miles to the south one week later, to the
beautiful park like setting of the fairgrounds in DuQuoin, Illinois. The
annual DuQuoin State Fair starts it's first weekend with racing on the
"Magic Mile", in the form of the Lincoln Welders ARCA Truck Series on
Saturday night, August 27. Last year's 50-mile truck event fell victim to
Mother Nature, the event was a complete washout and unable to be
rescheduled. Brian Rowe, winner of the truck race at DuQuoin in 2003, is
expected to compete.  Running with the trucks on the night of the 27th will
be local and area late model stock cars, with drivers who compete regularly
at Mt. Vernon, Highland, Kentucky Lake and Paducah expected to compete.

Labor Day weekend is traditionally known for picnics, boating, fishing and
auto racing in the heart of Southern Illinois. Nothing is more traditional
than national championship dirt track racing, as the Weld Racing USAC Silver
Crown cars take to the DuQuoin "Magic Mile" on Sunday night, September 4 for
the 55th running of the Ted Horn 100. Nighttime racing at DuQuoin, with the
lights shimmering off the infield lakes and the cool night air has
rejuvenated DuQuoin into one of the premier stops on the national
championship schedule. The night has also allowed the Silver Crown cars to
reach speeds previously unimagined, as a new world record was set in
qualifying each of the last two years. Defending champion Tyler Walker and
one lap track record holder Tyler Walker may be at DuQuoin, if his NASCAR
commitments allow. USAC stars expected at the Ted Horn 100 include Dave
Darland, Dave Steele and Brian Tyler. They will be set to battle a strong
Illinois contingent which could include Alex Shanks of nearby Marion,
Illinois, Randy Bateman of Murphysboro and Tim Siner of Waterloo.

NASCAR star Kenny Schrader arrives in DuQuoin on Labor Day for the 53rd
Federated Auto Parts Southern Illinois 100 for the ARCA RE/MAX Stock Car
Series.  The interest in DuQuoin by some of the NASCAR contingent has peaked
in recent years, with drivers like Jeremy Mayfield, Joe Ruttman, Mike
Wallace and former Federated 100 winner Tony Stewart taking to the DuQuoin
clay.  It is entirely possible that other NASCAR drivers may decide to come
to DuQuoin with Schrader, which means that defending Southern Illinois 100
winner Frank Kimmel has his work cut out in defending his crown.
Seventy-something Red Farmer is also expected to compete with the ARCA
series, as is nearby Kentucky resident Bill Baird, possibly coming out of
retirement once again.

UMP Modifieds race both days on Labor Day weekend, capped by the 20 mile
Oldani Memorial on Labor Day.  Robinson, Illinois' Brian Shaw is the
defending Oldani Memorial winner.

Racing on the dirt miles wraps up in Springfield, Illinois with the 14th
annual Turbo Blue Illinois Fall Nationals on the Springfield Mile Sunday,
September 18th.  In a deal recently consummated, the late model portion of
the Illinois Fall Nationals will be co-sanctioned between UMP and the World
of Outlaws, which means that the biggest stars in late model racing should
be present to challenge many of the local and area drivers who frequently
compete in the Fall Nationals event.  Last year's late model portion saw
Darren Miller set a new track recxord in qualifying, then Brian Birkhofer
win his third Fall Nationals late model feature race.  UMP Modifieds
complete the Fall Nationals program, St. Charles, Missouri driver Jim
Shereck has won the last three modified events at Springfield.

Tickets are on sale now at the Illinois and DuQuoin State Fair box offices,
as well as at Ticketmaster outlets and through Track Enterprises at
217-764-3200.  Additional information can be found at www.arcaracing.com,
www.usacracing.com, and www.trackenteprises.com.

Renegade 100 Set to Begin February 1st -5th
Paying $30,000 To Win $1,500 to Start

Satsuma, FL (January 27, 2005)- The Renegade 100 Open Wheel Modified event presented by Florida Racer Magazine is set to begin Tuesday February 1, 2005 with an open practice night. Then the racing action begins on Wednesday February 2, 2005 as top modified drivers from all over the country head to the Putnam County Speedway in Satsuma Florida to try to earn a starting position in the "Renegade 100" main event on Saturday February 5th.

Saturdays feature event the "Renegade 100" will pay the winner $30,000 with 10th place paying $10,000. Any driver that earns one of the 24 starting positions will be guaranteed $1,500 to start the feature. A total purse of $190,000 will be paid out to the entire 24 positions to the modified drivers that make the feature event Saturday night.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights events will determine the top 12 starting positions for the "Renegade 100". The rest of the field will be filled through consolation races on Saturday before the feature event. The Wednesday night event heat races will be lined up by pill draw and from there a passing points system will be used to determine the feature events Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The top 4 finishers in each nights feature will be locked in the "Renegade 100".

Promoter Rich Egli has been working feverishly to put this race together and is excited about the tremendous support and interest he has been receiving the past couple of weeks. "I'm getting calls from 5-8 drivers a day saying they are coming and sending the entry fees in. I have a lot of support from some really great sponsors for this event including Rod End Supply, Travel Easy RV, Fire Fight Fire Systems, Astro, Hoosier, Florida Racer Magazine and Southeast Motorsports. A lot of people were skeptical at first with all the delays, but I am assuring everyone that this event will be a huge success. Its all coming together and we will be taping the event to be broadcasted on TV later in the year", stated Rich from the track.

After several hurricanes devastated the south Florida area last year, the "Renegade 100" originally scheduled for November 16, 2004 had to be postponed due to severe damage from the hurricanes to the Thundercross Speedway in Okeechobee, Florida. Track owners decided the damage was too severe and cancelled the event. Immediate discussions took place with other racetracks in the state of Florida to host the event and Putnam County Speedway in association with the Florida Racer Magazine agreed to host the event. "Putnam County Speedway will be an awesome track for these modified drivers to race on three and four wide. I am looking forward to seeing some great racing action", stated Rich Egli.

Many of the top open wheel modified drivers are entered in the event including former UMP National Champion Jimmy Owens out of Tennessee. Also on tap over the five days will be the Pure Stock Mini Shoot-Out, Open Wheel Southern Lite Shoot-Out, and a special BONUS Outlaw Lawn Mower Racing.

2ND ANNUAL DIRT RACING EXPO
Charleston, WV

TO:  All Media Outlets

Info Contact: RPMX Promotions ([email protected])
Media Contact: Dustin Jarrett ([email protected])

2nd Annual Dirt Racing Expo Set For Saturday, March 19th
Charleston, WV  (1/26/05)  --  RPMX Promotions is proud to announce the date for the 2nd Annual Dirt Racing Expo.  Held at the Hooters of Charleston, WV for the second year in a row, this kickoff to the 2005 dirt track racing season has been set for Saturday, March 19th.

"We've already received a tremendous response from fans, drivers, and track promoters," said Robby Cline of RPMX Promotions.  "If the phone calls and emails we have been getting are any indication, this year's event should surpass last year's by leaps and bounds."

Over 35 cars and drivers were on hand for last year's expo, the first of its kind in the central West Virginia area.  In addition, more than 1,000 race fans stopped by throughout the course of the day to take pictures, meet drivers, and chat about the upcoming racing season.

"The show we have planned for this day is just a win-win situation for everyone involved," commented RPMX's Tony Harshbarger.  "Drivers have the opportunity to show off their sponsors -- and possibly even obtain sponsors -- as well meet fans, take pictures, conduct interviews with local members of the media, and talk with track promoters about rules and changes in regards to the 2005 racing season."

More than an average car show, the Dirt Racing Expo boasts an entire afternoon full of activities for the entire family.  Among the activities planned for the day is the 2005 Miss FASTRAK Pageant for the rapidly growing FASTRAK Racing Series.  Also, with the help of sponsors Gamestop and Chapmanville TV, two video game areas will be on display where fans and drivers alike can take their turn behind the wheel of Ratbag's PlayStation 2 hit "Saturday Night Speedway."  In addition, there will be ongoing activities for the kids as well as door prizes for everyone all afternoon long.  Local radio station Rock 105 is slated to conduct a live remote at the event and Smoker Friendly will be on hand with a display of their own.

"We really want this expo to have something for everyone," Cline stated.  "We want drivers from all classes, fans of all ages, and promoters from all tracks to be able to attend this and get something out of it.  It's our goal to make this thing as big as possible.  We really want this show to be the official 'kickoff' to the 2005 racing season."

Because the event is free of charge for both participants and fans, limited spaces are available for drivers from all classes wishing to participate in the event.  Likewise, a few sponsorship opportunities still remain.  All open positions, however, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Aside from drivers and sponsors, track promoters are highly encouraged to attend this event to speak with drivers, pass out schedules, and discuss the upcoming racing season.

"This is an unbelievable opportunity for potential sponsors to come and check out just how big dirt track racing is, not just in our area, but across the entire country," Harshbarger added.  "Because it's free, this is a great opportunity for drivers to proudly display their sponsors for tons of general exposure, photo opportunities, and possible radio, TV, and newspaper interviews.  Like I said before, it's a win-win situation for everyone."

Reservations for the 2nd Annual Dirt Racing Expo at Hooters of Charleston MUST be made through RPMX Promotions.  For more information, to register your car, or to enter the 2005 Miss FASTRAK Pageant, please contact RPMX via email at [email protected].  Serious phone inquiries can be made to either Robby Cline at (304)-552-1879 or Tony Harshbarger at (304)-687-7493.
