December 18, 2006 - Christmas came early
for King of Indiana Sprint Series racers this year. Bedford’s Indiana
Stone Works has agreed to a sponsorship arrangement that increases the payoff
for B Main starters to a minimum $100 for each KISS series event, if
they don't transfer to the feature.
KISS competed seven events at as many different Hoosier tracks in
2006. Jon Stanbrough captured three victories and the series crown in a
season that saw him named the “Driver of the Year” by the National Sprint Car
Hall of Fame for non-wing sprint car competition. Other race winners were
Kevin Briscoe and A. J. Anderson.
SCHEDULE. The 2007 KISS schedule is still being developed and will be
released early in the New Year. It will be posted at
www.kissracing.com when finalized.
SPONSORS. Indiana Stone Works joins Elliottbrand Web
Designs, in Westport, IN, creator of the KISS website, and
Bloomington’s Kiva Technology Solutions as sponsors of the 2007 KISS
tour. Visit them at
www.Elliottbrand.com and

KISS is continuing to look for sponsorships for the upcoming series. Not only
will a sponsor actively participate in one of the most exciting sprint car
programs of the coming season, but their investment will also garner the
benefits of broad visibility and productive publicity among a growing segment
of motorsports enthusiasts in Indiana’s most active metropolitan areas. For
more information contact the promoter at your closest KISS racing track.

July 1, 2006 -- Jon Stanbrough doesn't like to do things by half-measures.
While he would have secured his second King of Indiana Sprint Series
championship by simply taking the green flag in the main event at the Terre
Haute Action Track, instead he led every lap, thoroughly dominating the big
finale. Shane Cottle finished two seconds behind, followed by Brad Sweet, Jon
Sciscoe and Mitch Wissmiller.
After the victory ceremonies, Stanbrough explained what winning a second KISS
title meant to him. “I’ve won a few championships here and there and never
repeated,” he said. “It’s really exciting to be a two-time champion and even
more exciting to have gotten the most wins in the series. Hopefully I can
continue with that.”
Starting fifth for the 30-lap feature, Stanbrough hugged the bottom through
turn two and grabbed the lead when the front cars slid up. He admitted that
he was surprised, “I always kind of have in mind what I’m going to do and if
somebody opens the door for me, then I’m going to go for it. If it’s
somewhere I can get through - my car was hooked up, I got to it and it just
took off.”
At the completion of the first lap, Stanbrough had the Fox Brothers DRC a
dozen car-lengths ahead of Cottle, with pole-sitter Bryan Stanfill ahead of
Hud Cone, Sciscoe, Sweet and Shane Hollingsworth. Clearly Brad and Steve Fox
had found the car’s sweet spot, as Stanbrough kept the FOXCO powerplant wound
up, as he smoothly negotiated the cushion at each end. He owned a two-second
lead and had just caught the tail-enders by lap 13 when the yellow came out
for Hunter Schuerenberg, who had come to a stop while running in the top ten.
Stanfill challenged Cottle for second at the restart, grabbing the spot in
turn four. But Cottle battled back and Stanfill began falling back and
dropped out several laps later when his engine began overheating. At 20 laps,
Stanbrough was a half-straightaway ahead and extended his advantage to a full
straightaway while negotiating slower cars with just a handful of laps
remaining. Cottle closed the gap to two seconds at the end, but no one had
been able to challenge Stanbrough.
“I have to give credit to the guys who put a great setup on it,” Stanbrough
said. “They got the tire pressures and the stagger and everything right. I’m
just the guy turning the wheel and they make me look good. I definitely have
to give all of the credit to Brad and Steve Fox. They build the motor and
take care of the car. They do a great job, obviously. It showed tonight.”
For the third time, Cottle finished second to Stanbrough in a KISS race. If
not for missing the Lawrenceburg round when he was competing in the Little
500, he certainly would have been in the thick of the point fight. After the
feature, he candidly noted, “Down in three and four it was up on the high
side, that was about the only place to run. Coming off of two on the high
side, it was real slow. So I got down on the bottom and I was a little bit
faster than he was, but I just couldn’t keep the momentum up on the
straightaway. I was kind of hard on my tires early and burned them off when I
was trying to get out in front of him and I used up a lot of my tires. I was
kind of just hanging around there at the end.”
Brad Sweet had a strong run in Jack Yeley’s DRC. He finished a strong third
after starting seventh. “It looks like we finally got the car kind of figured
out. It took us a few weeks, but we’re starting to run better. The track was
definitely hooked up tonight. We started in the fourth row, and just kind of
picked them off as we went along. But once we got up to Stanbrough and Cottle,
I don’t think we had anything for them. It was a good run for our team and we
definitely needed it.”
As in the 30-lap finale, Stanbrough grabbed the KISS point lead with
back-to-back victories in the opening races and no one was able to mount a
credible challenge. With a fifth place finish at Lawrenceburg, and third at
Paragon, the Terre Haute victory gave him a 135-point advantage in the final
standings. Jonathan Vennard trailed by 99 points when the evening began, but
after fighting engine problems during his heat race, he switched to Chris
Gentry’s team car for the main event. A ninth-place run from the tail
solidified second in the final points.

June 27, 2006 -- It may sound contradictory, but a King will be crowned on
Independence Day weekend. The 2006 King of Indiana Sprint Series (KISS)
concludes with a 30-lap feature event at the Terre Haute Action Track on
Saturday. For the first time in six years, it appears likely that the
coronation will be a repeat, as the 2003 KISS champion, Jon Stanbrough, holds
a commanding lead going into the final event. However commanding leads are
nothing new to Stanbrough, who has already won twice this year and his six
career KISS victories are double the second place record.
Stanbrough leads Jonathan Vennard by 99 points and will lock up the KISS title
(and it’s $1,400 bonus) simply by transferring to the feature race. Second in
the points is worth $1,000 and that battle is a lot closer. Chris Windom
trails Vennard by only 27 points, and defending KISS King Justin Marvel is
just 30 points behind. The winner of the most recent KISS race, Kevin Briscoe
climbed to fifth in the standings, fifty points out of second. Third, fourth
and fifth positions will pay $700, $600 and $500, and Shane Cottle and Derek
O’Dell are only a handful of points from collecting a bonus.
For the third year, the Terre Haute Action Track combines KISS with a Hoosier
Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) event. Most of the MSCS top-runners
have competed in KISS this season and Kevin Briscoe sits in the top five in
both group’s point standings.
Points: Stanbrough 510, Vennard 411, Windom 384, Marvel 381, Briscoe
363, Cottle 355, O’Dell 346
SCHEDULE. The 2006 KISS championship will kick off Independence Day
weekend at the Terre Haute Action Track on Saturday, July 1. By the time the
last firework has exploded, a new (or returning) King of Indiana Sprints will
be on his throne. Ticket prices are $15 general grandstand admission, $20
reserved grandstand and $10 for children in the grandstand. Infield admission
is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Pit passes are $30 each. Gates will
open at 5 pm, with racing at 7 pm. Wabash Valley Harley Davidson sponsors the
program, which includes UMP Modifieds and a huge fireworks show.

each heat will re-draw for their feature starting spots. Features pay $250 to
start, while B-Main competitors will take home a minimum of $50.
POINT FUND. The point fund will pay $1,400 to the King Of Indiana
Sprint Series champion. Additionally, the point fund pays the top five in the

June 24, 2006 -- Kevin Briscoe scored his third King of Indiana Sprint
Series (KISS) feature win at Paragon Speedway, Saturday, with a timely move up
into the rubber that had built up in the turns. The veteran racer from
Mitchell, IN, passed point leader Jon Stanbrough with three laps remaining,
and was ahead of Jon Sciscoe by seven car lengths when the race ended.
Stanbrough earned a third place finish, followed by Dave Darland and Josh
Cunningham.
“It’s good to get a win,” he said after the victory photos. “We’ve had a bad
year. It’s our fourth win, and we’ve had a lot of top-5’s. But the draw has
been killing us. I just wish they had passing points.”
With 68 cars in the pits, competition for the 22 KISS feature starting spots
was intense. Briscoe and Critter Malone were among the heat race winners,
even though both started from the tail. Before the main event, Dawn Kirchner
drew the number 2 pill for the Briscoe Homes Stealth, giving Kevin the outside
of the front row.
From the pole, Sciscoe shoved the Pottorff Logging machine into the lead in
the first turn, with Stanbrough and Briscoe glued to his tail, and Arin
McIntosh running fourth. Sciscoe was in command through the first half of
the race, working the bottom lane and preventing anyone from getting inside of
him. On the fourth circuit, Shane Hollingsworth nicked a turn two marker tire
and somersaulted the Truckers 24-Hour Service Twister on the backstretch.
Sciscoe continued to show the way following the restart, but while the leaders
seemed married to the bottom groove, others were making progress around the
top of the track. Jonathan Vennard used the cushion to stay in fifth, and
Dave Darland and Darren Hagen raced into the top ten from the ninth and sixth
rows, in Jeff Walker’s machines. When Donnie Gentry spun to bring a caution
flag at the half-way point, the lineup was Sciscoe, Briscoe, Stanbrough,
McIntosh, Vennard, Hud Cone, Darland, Hagen, Danny Holtsclaw and Joe Roush.
Sciscoe tried the high route through the first turn on the restart allowing
Briscoe to pull even on the bottom. When Sciscoe regained the lead, he
dropped back into the bottom groove, but Briscoe quickly moved up the track
and found what he had been watching for, the buildup of rubber had become
gummy and fast. He shot ahead, easily taking the lead on lap 18.
When the field took the green after a lap 20 yellow, Briscoe and Sciscoe went
to the top of the track, but Stanbrough stayed on the inside and hustled past
both of them. Looking for his third KISS victory in 2006 and a lock on the
point title, Stanbrough kept the Fox Brothers’ DRC a dozen car lengths in
front while Darland grabbed fourth spot. But Briscoe came back, taking the
lead on lap 24 only to have a spin by Danny Holtsclaw bring another caution
before the lap was completed.
Staying on the bottom, Stanbrough led three circuits after the green and
Cunningham took third from Sciscoe. But on the 27th
lap, Briscoe had the Briscoe Homes Stealth wound up and screamed back into the
lead. Sciscoe followed into second on lap 29. A caution on lap 30, involving
Hagen, Cone and Rob Botts, ended the race by track rules, with Briscoe ahead
of Sciscoe, and Stanbrough edging Darland for third.
Afterwards, Briscoe noted that his car had been fast on the bottom, but he
kept “screwing up”. He explained that he kept checking the top for rubber
during the caution, then one time “there it was”. The bottom was faster after
cautions, he said, but he knew that the rubber was coming back three or four
laps later. “Any time it becomes a track where you have to search around
experience comes into play. You have to be smart and find the race track.”
Jon Sciscoe has become used to the runner-up role this year, but that doesn’t
mean he’s enjoying it. “I led the majority of the race,” he said. “It looked
like it was taking rubber, but I didn’t know and Kevin slipped around us. You
really can’t tell. Sometimes the track is black like that and it’s slicker
than hell. Other times it locks us right down.”
Stanbrough’s third place run gave him a 99-point advantage over Vennard with
just one event remaining. He noted that he was on the bottom the whole way
and “when the track laid rubber down on the top, Briscoe just got a better
bite.”

June 21, 2006 -- With just two events left in the 2006 King of Indiana Sprint
Series, the fight for this year’s title is heating up. Five different drivers
have worn the KISS crown following the first five seasons, but this could be
the year for a repeat champion. The next stop on the road to the championship
will come at Paragon Speedway on Saturday night.
With victories at Bloomington and Lincoln Park Speedway last month, 2003 KISS
champion Jon Stanbrough holds a 52-point margin over A. J. Anderson, who
claimed the Lawrenceburg feature. Jonathan Vennard sits third in the
standings, 85 points behind the leader, followed by Chris Windom and Derek
O’Dell. While Saturday’s race at Paragon has the potential to give Stanbrough
a nearly insurmountable lock on his second KISS title, Anderson, Vennard and a
handful of others realize that they could be just two great races away from
becoming the sixth KISS champion. However, if history was to provide an
indication, Stanbrough knows his way around the Paragon oval, having earned
two of his nine USAC feature victories there, both in 1996.
After nearly a month-long break in KISS competition, lengthened by last week’s
rainout at Kokomo, Paragon Speedway will hold its fourth KISS event this
Saturday. Previous winners include Matt Westfall, Kevin Briscoe and Kent
Christian. Averaging 50 sprint cars for each of this year’s programs,
Paragon’s pit lane will be rocking when the KISS racers unload.
Paragon’s racing program will include street stocks and bombers. Admission is
$15 for adults, children 12 and under are admitted free with a paid adult
admission. Pit admission is $30. The pit gate opens at 4 pm, grandstand
gates at 5 pm and racing will begin at 7:30. More information is available at

June 7, 2006 -- A. J. Anderson broke up Jon Stanbrough’s attempt to sweep
the 2006 King of Indiana Sprint Series (KISS) with a memorable victory at
Lawrenceburg Speedway two weeks ago. Since that night, Billy Puterbaugh, Kent
Christian, Brady Short, Brandon Petty, Jon Sciscoe and Doug Heck have been
among the drivers to score sprint car feature wins on area ovals, illustrating
the depth of competition unloading every week.
However, when you focus on Kokomo Speedway, the next stop for the KISS series
(June 18), Jon Stanbrough and Shane Cottle have captured the two most recent
Sunday night features. Even though Stanbrough and Cottle finished one-two in
the first two KISS events, no one is conceding anything to them. When they
get to Kokomo Speedway, Jon and Shane may feel comfortable, having recently
visited Victory Lane, but the KISS series brings a healthy car count and a
bunch of potential winners.
While Anderson climbed to second in the KISS points, behind Stanbrough, there
are three hungry racers not far behind them who have yet to score their first
KISS victories: Jonathan Vennard, Chris Windom and Derek O’Dell. And
considering past experience, previous KISS winners at Kokomo include Kent
Christian (2002) and Mat Neely (last year). This year’s Kokomo round appears
to be wide open.
SCHEDULE. The KISS racers will start their final leg with a big Sunday show
at Kokomo Speedway on June 18th. The program
will include UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks and Mini-Stocks. Gates will open at
3:30 and racing following hot laps at 6:00. The track is located at 2455
North Davis Rd. in Kokomo. More information is available at the track
website,

The final events of the 2006 KISS championship be Paragon Speedway on
Saturday, June 24. Then racers will kick off their Independence Day weekend
with the KISS grand finale at the Terre Haute Action Track and the crowning of
a new (or repeat) King of Indiana Sprints on July 1.

Anderson Takes Lawrenceburg Leg Of The King Of Indiana Sprint Series
Competition In A Thriller
A.J. Anderson, the State Line Indiana native, already a winner on Memorial
Day weekend after being victorious at The Gas City Speedway on Friday night,
drove his family owned #34 to Victory Lane on Saturday night at the King Of
Indiana Sprint Series (KISS) event at The Lawrenceburg Speedway. Anderson, who
started in the second row of the Feature Event, would put on a thrilling show,
battling two and three wide with Kevin Huntley and Brandon Petty before taking
home the hardware.
The race would begin with #26x Jonathan Vennard jumping to the early lead, with
Anderson in tow. By the second circuit Anderson made the bottom groove home,
overtaking Vennard, who was followed by the #21R of Kevin Huntley. With 5 laps
in the books, Huntley would power past Vennard, and start his throttle mashing
charge on the Lawrenceburg Speedway cushion. With momentum on his side, Huntley
would soon be wheel to wheel with Anderson. Lap after lap, the two duked it out,
with the #11x of Brandon Petty throwing himself into the mix half way into the
race.
Anderson, Huntley and Petty would awe the crowd with their slicing and dicing
two and three abreast, with Huntley capturing a very narrow lead on lap 18.
Huntley would remain up front, with Anderson and Petty in dangerously close
pursuit, until a lap 22 caution would fly. After the caution, the 2005
Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion, Petty, would dig deep to regain his
momentum on the top side, while Huntley would do everything in his power to
retain the lead. A hustling Anderson, would get back by Huntley on lap 24, by a
nose. The duo would swap the lead in every corner of every lap for the last six
laps of the Feature Event. The veteran, Huntley, obviously sensing how equal he
and Anderson were likely to be at the checkered, moved down the track in the
final lap in an attempt to take away Anderson's preferred line. Anderson would
not be denied, working the #34 even lower on the race track, capturing the
victory by a nose at The Lawrenceburg Speedway flag stand. Petty would secure
the final podium position, with Jonathan Vennard and Jon Stanbrough rounding out
the top 5.
The SK Construction Sprint Cars will be on hand next Saturday June 3rd at The

May 20, 2006 - With a tough victory at Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday
night, Jon Stanbrough took a huge step toward becoming the first two-time
champion of the King of Indiana Sprint Series. It was Stanbrough’s second
consecutive victory in as many nights and in some ways resembled the KISS
feature at Bloomington Speedway the night before. As he had at Bloomington,
Shane Cottle led early, but again trailed the Fox Brothers DRC, wheeled by
Stanbrough, at the finish. Scott Hatton, Chris Windom and Derek O’Dell
completed the top-5.
“We weren’t perfect tonight. It was pretty close and I just kept adjusting in
the car. Every yellow I adjusted a little and tried to do a little bit on the
green. But once I got past that last yellow, it was just a matter of not making
any mistakes,” Stanbrough explained as he stood in his hauler after the race.
Cottle beat Hatton into the first turn and claimed the early lead, running the
cushion through one and two as Hatton kept second, ahead of Stanbrough and
Critter Malone. Following a ninth lap caution for Danny Williams Jr.’s spin,
Stanbrough moved to the top to take second from Hatton. On the 13th
circuit, Tony Elliott hit a turn four infield marker tire, breaking the left
front suspension and spinning.
Stanbrough pressed Cottle’s Crume-Evans Insurance Chalk-chassis on the restart,
and looked high in turn four before diving to the inside of the first turn on
lap 14. He was able to pull even in the second turn and race Cottle
wheel-to-wheel into three, where he now owned the prime real estate. Cottle
tried to stay with him on the outside, but Stanbrough moved decisively ahead in
through turn four.
Malone and A.J. Anderson tangled on the 21st
circuit to bring the last caution of the race. For the second fifteen laps,
Cottle tried in vain to regain position on Stanbrough, but the door never opened
and they finished the way they ran the final circuits, nose-to-tail.
“When he got past me I was running up on the high side in one and two and
obviously it was the wrong place to be running,” Cottle offered later. “But I
was a sitting duck out there in the front, like last night. Just one of them
deals. Maybe one day we’ll start behind him and catch him.”
The atmosphere was brighter several spaces away in the Fox team’s pits. “We
were really actually pretty loose to run anywhere on the racetrack. The top was
so rough you couldn’t run up there. So we just had to make the best of what we
had. I tried to make as many adjustments in the car as I could and not make any
mistakes when I got into the lead. The whole year’s been good. Hopefully we’ll
just keep it going. Maybe we’ll top that number that (Paul) Hazen and I had a
few years back.”

May 19, 2006 - Jon Stanbrough scored a brilliant victory in the opening race
of the 2006 King Of Indiana Sprint Series. From a third row start, Stanbrough
harassed Shane Cottle until finally working past on the 20th
circuit, then maneuvered his Fox Brothers DRC cleanly through traffic for his
fifth KISS win. Kevin Briscoe edged Dave Darland for third, as Justin Marvel
finished fifth.
Later, Stanbrough called it a good win. “They’re all good wins. Somebody made
me aware that I had the most wins in the KISS series. So it’s good to win
another one and try to keep my record.”
At the green flag, Cottle took control off the second turn and built a
straightaway-length lead while Stanbrough worked up to third, until a sixth lap
caution bunched the field. During the same time, Dave Darland was nearly alone
in running the top as he hustled from twelfth to third, with Kevin Briscoe
following from 14th to eighth. While Cottle
continued to lead from the restart, Stanbrough quickly moved into second and
Darland made it a three-car battle.
Following another restart at mid-race, Stanbrough was pressing Cottle in every
turn. While the fast groove through turns three and four was the same for
everyone, they had a choice in one and two, with workable high and low lines.
Cottle tried high, then the next lap, low. Then he went high again on the
following lap. Each time Stanbrough took the other lane through the turns. On
the 20th circuit Cottle ran into turn one on
the cushion and Stanbrough went low, but this time Stanbrough came off of two
with the lead.
While the leaders dueled up front, Briscoe and Darland were waging their own
battle. Briscoe finally scrambled past Darland on the 29th
lap to narrowly claim third. Defending KISS champion Justin Marvel led Tony
Elliott in a battle of the Trucker’s 24-Hour team cars. Kenny Carmichael, A. J.
Anderson, Derek O’Dell and Matt Westfall completed the top ten.
“If you’re going to try to pass somebody, you’d have to go wherever they’re not
running,” Stanbrough said. “He’d go high and I’d go low to try to get by him,
or vice versa. I don’t know if he made a mistake up there on the top when I got
by him. I thought we got a pretty good bite on the bottom and once I got the
lead I just tried to run through the middle of three and four and tried to run
through the bottom of one and two.”
Cottle explained, “My brakes about 20 laps into it started going away and I was
having to pump them a lot. And then I was afraid to have them tighten it up
anymore because really tight in the heat race. We just missed it, it was one of
those things.”
With 52 machines in the pits at Bloomington, Stanbrough rolls into Saturday
night’s race at Lincoln Park Speedway with a five point lead over Cottle.

May 15, 2006 - The opening of the 2006 King of Indiana Sprint
Series (KISS) season has shifted to a busy doubleheader this coming weekend
as Bloomington Speedway hosts the KISS racers on Friday, and then they take a
short ride up to Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday. With the rain
out at Gas City/I-69 Speedway last Friday, the chase for the KISS crown has been
shortened to just six events.
What do Jon Stanbrough, Dave Darland, Tony Elliott, Michael Burthay and Kevin
Briscoe have in common? Answer: they have all won KISS series races on either
the Bloomington or Lincoln Park ovals. Obviously, this is one tough short list.
SCHEDULE. The 2006 KISS tour will roll off Friday, May 19, at the
Bloomington Speedway. 24-hours later, Saturday, May 20, they take the green
at Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway. Lawrenceburg Speedway

KISS is continuing to look for sponsorships for the upcoming series. Not only

May 8, 2006 - With the first event of the 2006 King of Indiana
Sprint Series (KISS) unloading at I-69/Gas City Speedway this week, the
stage has been set for another dramatic sprint car thrill ride.
Shane Cottle and Jon Stanbrough, the 2004 King, are topping the early season
sprint car headlines in the Hoosier State and either could be in line to capture
this year’s KISS title. With three races in the books at Gas City, Cottle is
undefeated, including wheeling Monte Edison’s machine to his first USAC feature
victory, on April 28. Cottle also owns a feature victory at Kokomo Speedway.
At the same time, Stanbrough has won four times, twice each at Bloomington and
at Lawrenceburg, including a USAC feature at the ‘Burg. He is driving a sprint
car fielded by the Fox brothers, Brad and Steve. 2001 King Dickie Gaines has
also won twice at Bloomington, but is sidelined for several months because of
injuries suffered at Eldora.
2005 King Of Indiana Sprint Series champion Justin Marvel is also on top of his
game as the opener approaches. Over the winter, Marvel joined the R&B
Racing/Truckers 24-Hour Service/Jockish Flowers sprint car team, where he is
paired with Mat Neely. Marvel scored his first USAC feature victory in
Saturday’s national sprint car event at Canandaigua Speedway in New York.
Marvel said that he expects the team to be at all of the KISS events that don’t
conflict with USAC sprint car events on dirt tracks.
Last year’s finale exemplified the drama that accompanies the KISS
championship. Marvel trailed Dave Darland by just four points coming into the
final evening program, at the Terre Haute Action Track. Then, at the start of
the first heat race, Darland was pinched against the frontstretch wall and
flipped hard. The car was a mess and the Walker crew unloaded a second machine
from the top of their hauler. After a handful of laps to warm the engine,
Darland won the C-main from the tail and the Semi from deep in the field. But
even though he charged from 17th to 10th
in the main event, Marvel’s seventh place finish secured the title.
“Dave Darland has been my hero, there’s no doubt about it,” Marvel said later.
“He’s beaten my dad a bunch of times and my dad beat him. To be able to beat
him for the championship of the King of Indiana is awesome. There’s no words to
describe it. I was more disappointed of him flipping than anything because I
wanted to know that I beat him fair and square. So when they got the second car
out, I thought, ‘Good for them I want them to be out there.’ We’re not a team
that has a second car, so I had to keep my tires underneath me. And that’s what
we did.”
SCHEDULE. The first four KISS races are packed into the next three
weekends. KISS opens at the award winning I-69 Speedway in Gas City, on
Friday, May 12. The next Friday, May 19, the KISS racers will take the green on
the wicked fast Bloomington Speedway quarter mile. The next evening,
Saturday, May 20, they push off at Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway.

Saturday, May 27. After a couple weeks to catch their breath, the KISS racers
