UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour Returns to Paducah International Raceway
It does not get any hotter than this! The UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour returns
to Paducah International Raceway on Friday, July 2nd. The “Hell Tour” is rightly
named because it is a series of 26 grueling races held in 31-days and features
well-known Late Model drivers such as Shannon Babb, Jason Feger, 2009 PIR Winner
Billy Moyer, and 2007-2008-2009 Summer National Champion Dennis Erb, Jr.
Babb has already scored one win on the tour, with Moyer laying claim to the
first three races. Other stars that have wins on the tour this season include
Jeep Van Wormer, Rodney Melvin, and Brian Birkhofer. But how will they match up
with local favorites like Jason McBride, Randy Sellars, Jeff Walston, Tanner and
Terry English, 2008 Track Champion Dylan Thompson, and defending Track Champion
Kevin Cole? Who will go to Victory Lane with $10,000 on the line?
Another event on the agenda for Friday, July 2nd is the huge fireworks
spectacular sponsored by WPSD-TV Local 6 which will cater to all ages. Other
divisions scheduled to run include the UMP Modifieds and the UMP Street Stocks.
Pit Gates open at 3:00 PM and Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Hot Laps are at 6:15
PM, Qualifying for Late Models at 6:30 PM, and racing starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets
are $25 for Adults and Children 12 and under are $5. Pit Admission is $35.
Other events on the schedule for the month of July include the Harrah’s
Metropolis Casino Hotel Race Program on Friday, July 9th, a Street Stock Special
sponsored by Feezor Restorations on Friday, July 16th, WQQR 94.7 FM Night on
Friday, July 23rd, and the month closes out with a Modified Special on Friday,
July 30th.
2010 marks Paducah International Raceway’s fifth year with the current NASCAR
driver owners. “Get Dirty” at PIR with racing every Friday night.
ADVANCE AUTO PARTS MONSTER JAM HOSTS TWO-DAY SHOW
Summer Heat Hits Paducah International Raceway this Weekend
Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Summer Heat comes to Paducah International
Raceway this Friday, June 18th and Saturday, June 19th. Tickets are $17 in
advance for Adults and $20 at the gate. Children 2-12 are $5 and Children 2 and
under are Free. Gates open at 6:00 PM each night with show times at 7:30 PM.
There will be a Party in the PIts prior to the Saturday event from 5:00-6:00 PM.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet the drivers of the USHRA on the track,
get autographs, and take pictures as close to the trucks as possible. Pit passes
are available for Free from participating McDonald's locations or may be
purchased for $5 at the gate the day of the event.
Grave Digger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, War Wizard, Stone Crusher, and Mopar
Magic will be in action. The show formats include Monster Truck Racing, Monster
Truck Freestyle, Quad Wars, and additional elements to be determined.

Join Us for Another Great Friday of Racing
Next on the schedule is WKYX 94.3 FM Night this Friday, May 21st. WKYX 94.3 FM
Night is sponsored by NewsTalk 94.3. Friday will be a full race program
featuring all your weekly favorites: Super Late Models, Pro (Crate) Late Models,
Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinder Warriors, High School Warriors, and the
Kentucky Vintage. If last Friday is any indication, the competition is getting
hotter as Summer approaches.
Pit Gates open at 3:00 PM and Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Hot Laps at 6:30 PM,
and the green flag flies at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for Adults and Children 12
and under are Free. Pit Admission is $25.
Rounding out the month of May is a double-card show with a Modified Special and
a Pro (Crate) Late Model Special on the 28th. See top Modified drivers Rod Reed,

Houston, and defending Champion Todd Miller battle it out with $2,000 on the

This weekend is the biggest weekend in the history of Paducah International
Raceway. Friday Night April 30th will feature the UMP Late Models for $3000 to
win. Also racing Friday will be the UMP Modifieds, UMP Pro (crate) Late Models,
and the UMP 4 Cylinder Warriors.
Saturday will feature the Lucas Oil Series for $10000 to win. This race is being
taped for future showing on Speed Channel. Also racing on Saturday will be the
UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and the UMP 4 Cylinder Warriors.
Pit Gate will open at 3 both days with the Grandstands opening at 4. Hot Laps
will be at 6:15 with racing starting at 7 pm
Admission price for Friday will be $15 for adults with children 12 and under $5.

Three Favorites Return for the Night of NASCAR Stars 1
Paducah, KY- April 20, 2010- Veteran race car driver and track co-owner Ken
Schrader; NASCAR Nationwide Series driver and headliner of the season opener,
Rumble By the River, Kenny Wallace; and two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion and
track co-owner Tony Stewart return to Paducah International Raceway for the
Night of NASCAR Stars 1 this Thursday, April 22nd. Night of NASCAR Stars 1 is
sponsored by WKYQ 93.3 FM.
Ken Schrader is the driver of the # 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet in the
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Over the past 20 years in the Sprint Cup
Series, Schrader has collected a total 640 starts. He has four wins to his
credit in the series, as well as 64 top-fives, and 181 Top-10 finishes. Schrader
has also led the field to the green flag on 23 occasions during his career.
Kenny Wallace drives the #28 Chevrolet for Jay Robinson Racing. This week at
Texas Motor Speedway, Wallace and his team had a special sponsor on board in the
form of Hope for Tiny Hearts which is an organization formed in memory of Chloe
Duyck to raise awareness of and funds for researching infant heart defects.
Wallace is Second on the all-time series start list with 453 starts, Eighth
all-time in series Top 10’s with 159, and has finished within the Top 10 in
points standings for nine of 12 full-time seasons.
Tony Stewart, who is currently ninth in Sprint Cup points standings, is the
driver of the #14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet for Stewart/Haas Racing. His
most recent pole was this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. He has a total of 37
career wins, 145 Top Five finishes, and 233 Top 10’s to his credit.
Schrader and Wallace both picked up Feature Wins earlier this season at PIR,
will Stewart be able to pick up a win? If two of these favorites go head to

World of Outlaw Sprint Cars at PIR on Friday, April 16th
Don’t miss your only chance to see the World of Outlaws at Paducah International
Raceway during the 2010 season when they roar onto PIR this Friday, April 16th.
Who will take home the $10,000 grand prize?
Odds on favorite may be the current points leader and 2009 race winner Jason
Meyers. He leads the series in wins so far for the 2010 season and has finished
in the Top-10 in every race.
Another top pick is none other than the “King of Outlaws” Steve Kinser who has
20, yes 20, World of Outlaw Championships under his belt. That is how you become
the ‘King of Outlaws.” Also do not rule out his Tony Stewart Racing teammate,
four-time and defending champion Donny Schatz. These guys are currently second
and fourth in points respectively but neither have yet to claim a win at PIR.
Other top contenders include: Joey Saldana, driver for Kasey Kahne Racing, is
currently third in points and won a series-best 20 A-Feature events in 2009; his
current Kasey Kahne Racing teammate, veteran Paul McMahan will also be in
action. Danny Lasoski currently sits sixth in points standings and was the
winner at Paducah International Raceway in 2007 where he came from the 15th
starting spot to pick up the win. The 2008 race winner, Craig Dollansky will
also be looking for his second A-Feature win this Friday at PIR.
Veteran driver Jason Sides, reigning Rookie of the Year Brian Ellenberger, and
other rising stars such as Kraig Kinser, Tim Kaeding, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Lucas
Wolfe, and 2010 World of Outlaw Rookie of the Year contenders, Ben Gregg and
Toni Lutar round out the card for this event.
Weekly racing favorites in action this Friday include the UMP Pro (Crate) Late
Models, headlined by track Champion and current points leader Tait Davenport;
UMP Modifieds headlined by track Champion Todd Miller and current points leader
Justin Houston; and the UMP Street Stocks headlined by current Track Champion
and current points leader JR Mason.

It is shaping up to be another great week for racing. Preparations are underway
at the track to get ready for another great Friday night. Rain is in the
forecast for tomorrow and Thursday. Hopefully that will clear up, and we will be
ready to go green on Friday night.
Friday, April 9th is Driver Appreciation Night. Come out to the track and show
your support for your favorite drivers and meet the ones you may not already
know. This is going to be a very “fan friendly” night and sure to be lots of fun
for all.

Part Two of Rumble By the River To Be Held Friday, May 28th
Paducah, KY- April 1, 2010- Paducah International Raceway is pleased to announce
Friday, May, 28th as the rain-out date for Part Two of our Season Opener
Double-Header Rumble By the River. Present your ticket stub and/or pit passes
from the original race day for admission.
For any fans who did not attend the Saturday, March 27th event, here is your
chance to get in on the action. Pit Admission will be $30. Grandstand Admission
will be $15 with Children 12 and under FREE. Join PIR as “history repeats
itself” with Part Two of Rumble By the River.
Two other huge events planned for the month of April are the World of Outlaws
scheduled for Friday, April 16th and Night of NASCAR Stars 1 featuring Tony
Stewart scheduled for Thursday, April 22nd. Also mark your calendars for the

RAIN CLAIMS SECOND NIGHT OF RUMBLE BY THE RIVER

RAIN-OUT DATE TO BE SCHEDULED—Unfortunately the sunshine did not hold out, and
the second night of the First Annual Rumble By the River came to an early end.
While most of the day was gorgeous and sunny, clouds loomed overhead as we
approached the green flag.

“GET DIRTY” WITH PADUCAH INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
SEVEN DAYS ‘TIL THE BIG ONE Paducah, KY- March 19, 2010- Mark your calendars!
The First Annual Rumble By the River will be Friday, March 26th and Saturday,
March 27th. NASCAR Nationwide Series Driver Kenny Wallace will be here racing
the Federated Auto Parts Modified. Come be a part of PIR history. Practice
sessions will be held on Saturday, March 20th from 12-4 PM and Thursday from 5-9
PM. Pit admission will be $15 for both sessions with Grandstand admission FREE.
Give a shout-out to Mother Nature because the weather has been great the past
few days and a lot of work has been done around the track to get ready for the
upcoming season. Things have really come together, and the track looks awesome.
We are looking to give our fans the best race season ever! For the Rumble By the
River, pit gates open both days at 3 PM and the Grandstands open at 5 PM. Hot
laps will be at 6:30 with the green flag dropping at 7 PM to kick off the Rumble
By the River. Grandstand admission will be $15 for Adults with Children 12 and
under FREE for both days. Pit admission will be $25 on Friday and $30 on
Saturday. Friday’s race will be $1,000 to win for Modifieds; $1,000 for Super
Late Models; $500 for Crate Late Models; and $250 for Street Stock. The
4-Cylinder Warriors and the Kentucky Vintage Cars will also be in action.
Saturday’s race will be $2,000 to win for Modifieds; $727 for Crate Late Models;
and $250 for Street Stock. The 4-Cylinder Warriors will also be attacking the
high banks. And DON’T FORGET… Decatur Used Cars is challenging any UMP Street
Stock Driver (that has not competed at PIR in the last 12 months) who races both
nights in the Rumble By the River with an additional $250 bonus for each night’s
feature winner provided that the winner also finished in the Top 10 in UMP
Street Stock points at his/her home track. This would make it possible for one
driver to walk away with $1000 for the weekend. Each night’s feature is going to
pay $250 to win, and UMP Points will be awarded each night. This will be a great
chance for new UMP Street Stock racers to try out the popular high banked oval
and have a great weekend of racing. Partly sunny and 67-degrees… See you at the
practice on Saturday!!

Paducah, KY- March 4, 2010- “Get ready to rumble” Paducah International
Raceway’s 2010 season officially hits the track on Friday, March 26th and
Saturday, March 27th with the first annual Rumble By the River Double Header.
NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Kenny Wallace will be mixing it up with local
superstars when he races his Federated Auto Parts Modified. Both events will
feature the Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Streets, and the 4-Cylinder Warriors.
Watch last year’s champions Todd Miller, Tait Davenport, JR Mason, and Jake Mayo
defend their titles in their respective divisions. The race on March 26th will
also feature the UMP Super Late Models with Kevin Cole as the series defending
champion. Pits open at 4:00 and the Grandstands open at 5:00. Hot Laps will
begin at 6:30 and the racing extravaganza takes the green flag at 7:00 each
evening. In addition to the Rumble By the River the Bluegrass Bash will be
Sunday March 28th at Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, KY making!
it possible for a UMP Modified driver to pick up over $6000 in three days. A
bonus of $500 has been put up by the tracks for any Modified driver than can win
all three events. Tickets are also currently available for the World of Outlaw
