World 100 week
SEPTEMBER 4: THE BALTES CLASSIC

Cap off your Labor Day weekend with some exciting racing action from the Big E! Sunoco American Late Models, UMP Modifieds, and Eldora Stock Cars will all be in action.

Baltes Classic
WIX 33:
For the first time in Eldora Speedway history, the Sunoco American Late Model Series feature will start up to 33 cars in 11 rows of 3. The event pays $3,300 to win and $330 to start. This World 100 tune-up is sure to be a thriller!

TICKETS: General Admission race tickets are $15 for adults, $7 for ages 12-15, $3 for ages 7-11, and free for ages 6 & under. Reserved seats run just $3 to $5 more. Tickets are available for purchase at the gate on race day, or in advance by clicking HERE

POINTS BATTLE: The Baltes Classic serves as the final Eldora points event for the UMP Modifieds and Eldora Stock Cars. Rob Trent holds a slim 5 point lead over Barney Craig in the Stock Car division, while Jesse Bitterling leads Jerry Bowersock by 8 markers in the Modifieds. Seven drivers are still mathematically alive for the title in each division! Late Models will receive points at two events following the Baltes Classic (World 100 and UMP Nationals)

TRIBUTE TO FOUNDERS: The Baltes Classic was introduced in 2008 as a way to give annual tribute to the renowned Earl Baltes who almost single-handedly turned a cornfield into the most prominent grassroots facility in the Nation. At that time, a life-size bronzed sculpture of Earl and his wife Berneice was unveiled and situated at the entrance of the Speedway to forever welcome fans to Eldora.
