August 20th Central Missouri Manufacture’s Night at Lake Ozark Speedway

This coming Saturday, August 20, 2011, Lake Ozark Speedway is pleased to present “Central Missouri Manufacturer’s Night”.  All employees of Central Bank, RR Donnely, ABB, Scholastic, Gates Rubber, Command Web and DeLong’s Inc.  will receive one free general admission by showing employee identification or a paystub.  The evening will include racing in 5 exciting classes: Amsoil 360 Sprints, Picker’s Junction A Modifieds, This Buds for You Florist B Modifieds, Bishop Auto Glass Late Models and Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks.

Pit gates open at 4pm and general admission at 5pm. Drivers meeting will start at 6pm hot laps at 6:30pm and racing starts at 7pm. Admission will be $15 for the grandstands with kids 12 and under free with paid adult. Pit passes will be $30.

The Amsoil 360 Sprint cars will be racing for a $5,000 increased purse with $2500 to win and $350 to start. The Picker’s Junction A Modifieds and This Buds for You Florist B Modifieds, will each be racing for a purse with an increase of $3,000, with the A Modifieds racing for $1000 to win and $200 to start and the B Modifieds racing for $700 to win and $175 to start. August 20th Central Missouri Manufacture’s Night at Lake Ozark Speedway

On Saturday, August 20, 2011, Lake Ozark Speedway is pleased to present “Central Missouri Manufacturer’s Night”.  All employees of Central Bank, RR Donnely, ABB, Scholastic, Gates Rubber, Command Web and DeLong’s Inc.  will receive one free general admission by showing employee identification or a paystub.  The evening will include racing in 5 exciting classes: Amsoil 360 Sprints, Picker’s Junction A Modifieds, This Buds for You Florist B Modifieds, and Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks.

The Amsoil 360 Sprint cars will be racing for a $5,000 increased purse with $2500 to win and $350 to start. The Picker’s Junction A Modifieds and This Buds for You Florist B Modifieds, will each be racing for a purse with an increase of $3,000, with the A Modifieds racing for $1000 to win and $200 to start and the B Modifieds racing for $700 to win and $175 to start. “Battle of the Badges Race” at Lake Ozark Speedway July 23rd.

 

On Saturday July 23rd Lake Ozark Speedway will host the 2nd Annual “Battle of the Badges Race”. This race features law enforcement officers from around the state of Missouri driving late model Ford Crown Victoria’s, providing a “cop car” feel to the race. All funds raised from the “Battle of the Badges” race will go toward supporting Special Olympics year round sports training and competition program for the more than 15,000 Missouri athletes across the state. Also racing on July 23rd will be the Amsoil 360 sprints and the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds racing for $2000 to win in both classes. The Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks have also been added to the night’s action, running for their regular purse. The June 18th make up feature for the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds will also be run. Admission for the night is $18 with all Law Enforcement personnel receiving $5 off on one general admission ticket by showing their badge. Not valid on VIP tent or pit passes. Saturday July 23 Lake Ozark Speedway will host the “Battle of the Badges” Race featuring law enforcement officers racing to raise money for Special Olympics. The Amsoil 360 Sprints and Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds will also be racing for $2000 to win in both classes. The Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks have also been added to the July 23rd event. A great crowd came out to Lake Ozark Speedway for Fan Appreciate Night and Nickel Races for the kids. Harland Dowell of Tipton, Mo. in the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks, Mike Floyd of Holts Summit, Mo. in the This Bud’s for You Florist B Modified’s, Justin Russell of Henley, Mo. in The Bishop Auto Glass Late Models and Jason Russell in Henley, Mo. In the Picker’s Junction UMP Modified’s take the checker’s on Saturday night. Bob Gustin of Osage Beach, Mo. won the make-up Street Stock feature from 6/18. There were 21 bikes given away thanks to the following; Upton Custom Collision, Maple Street Café, JD’s Detailing, Midwest Speed Shops, Danny and Sandy Crane- Crane Motorsports, Cooper Racing, Ed Franko, Bob and Michelle Test, Chris, Sherry and Tucker Cox, Steve Beach- Beach Motorsports, Reid Millard, Bandon and Kim Imhoff- Imhoff Motorsports, Kaiser Electric, Bryan Richards,Russell Racing and Howard and Cyndi Hall.

Racing will resume this Saturday July 9th at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. This weekend will be Fan Appreciation Night at the speedway with the first 600 with paid general admission receiving a free jumbo hotdog. Beer will be half price for the night. Racing will feature the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds, Bishop Auto Glass Late Models, This Bud’s for You Florist B Modifieds and the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stock. The UMP Modifieds will be running for $1200 to win thanks to Amerishop for adding $400 and JD Detail Shop for $100 to the winner. Also on tap will be the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks running the make-up feature from the June 18thrain out. All cars are welcome to race in the regular July 9th portion of the show but only the cars that were set to start the June 18thshow will be eligible to run the make-up feature.

General admission will be $10 for adults with kids 12 and under free and gates open at 5pm. Pit gates will open at 4pm with pit passes $25. Pill draw will close at 6pm with hot laps at 6:30pm and racing starting at 7pm.

Future dates will have be a regular racing program (no sprints) on July 16th with the This Bud’s for You B modified make-up feature from the June 18th rainout.

July 23rd will have the “Battle of the Badges”race which will feature law enforcement officers from across the state racing to raise funds for the Missouri Special Olympics. The Amsoil 360 Sprints will return to the speedway racing for $2000 to win. Racing will also include the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds racing for $1500 to win. The June 18th$1000 to win UMP Modifieds feature that was rained out will also be made up.

Lake Ozark Speedway will welcome the Lucas Oil MLRA series to the track this Saturday June 18th. This will mark the series first return to the track since 2007 when Will Vaught took the victory. Lake Ozark Speedway is excited about bringing the series back to the Eldon, Mo. Facility. The Picker’s Junction Consignment and Flea Market UMP Modifieds will also be on hand racing for $1000 to win. Other supporting classes include the This Bud’s for You Florist B Modifieds and the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks. General admission for the event will be $18 for adults, with kids 12 and under free with a paid adult admission. Pit passes will be $30 with the pit gates opening at 3:00pm.
