FOURTH 2001 FANS TOP 25

(August/9/01) The fourth tabulation of fan ballots has been counted and Billy Moyer and Jimmy Owens continue to maintain the lead for the fourth straight time, but there are two newcomers to the runner-up spot in both classes. We will continue to update the results as often as needed. One word of caution to fans-If you voted for certain drivers CONSISTENTLY, our computer kicked out repetitive votes to allow a more fair assessment of all of the fans selections. The computer has counted 3,355 votes since January 1^st and kicked out 602 votes. The voting shows a pretty good cross-section of the Midwest.
Biggest gain in votes, since the last tabulations, were made by Late Model drivers Bob Pierce, Terry Phillips, and Kevin Weaver, with Steve Hillard making the list at 25 this time.   In Modified drivers, it was Jim Shereck jumping into the second spot from sixth. Chad Kinder, who made the list for the first time on the third tally, has now jumped to fourteenth and Darrell Hoffman moved onto the board joining his brother, Dean.

(June/14/01) The third tabulation of fan ballots have been counted and Billy Moyer and Jimmy Owens continue to maintain the lead for the third straight time. We will continue to update the results as often as needed. One word of caution to fans-If you voted for certain drivers CONSISTENTLY, our computer kicked out repetitive votes to allow a more fair assessment of all of the fans selections. The computer has counted 2,068 votes since January 1^st and kicked out 357 votes. The voting shows a pretty good cross-section of the Midwest.
Biggest gain in votes, since the last tabulations, were made by Late Model drivers Freddie Smith, Steve Boley, Brian Birkhofer, and Kevin Gundaker making the list at 25 this time.  Million winner Donnie Moran gained 3 spots, but it has only been a week since he won. In Modified drivers, it was Denny Schwartz jumping into the 18th spot from honorable mention. Chad Kinder also made the list for the first time this season as Shane Cottle and Ryan Dolan dropped out.
