Davenport champions dominate All-Star Classic
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (September 11, 2011) – The All-Star Classic at the Davenport Speedway had plenty of excitement and high-speed action, despite being delayed for two days due to rain. Four classes of racing took to the historic Davenport half-mile oval Sunday, highlighted by the Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models. When the final flag had flown, three of the speedway’s season champions had shown their muscle on the half-mile.
Deery Series point leader and Davenport IMCA Late Model track champion, Ray Guss Jr., captured his second Deery victory of the year in the 40-lap main event. Guss grabbed the point on lap sixteen, when leaders Colby Springsteen and Denny Eckrich got together coming out of turn four. Guss would lead the remaining laps and have a full straightaway lead at the finish.
Eckrich continued on in second after the contact and would finish in that position. Springsteen, who led the first fifteen laps, would fall back in the field and then be sent to the rear on the next caution period for making contact with Eckrich under yellow.
Nate Bueseling started on the outside of the front row and stayed in the top five the entire race before finishing third. Mike Klinkhammer also hung around the top five all race long, coming home in fourth. Andy Eckrich rounded out the top five.
Late model heat wins went to Andy Eckrich, Terry Neal, and Brian Harris.
“The Dominator”, Bob Dominacki lived up to his nickname Sunday night. Dominacki, the IMCA Modified track champion at Davenport this season led all twenty laps of the caution-filled Modified feature. Doug Nigh, driving the #45, started seventh and worked his way up to a second place finish. Brandon Rothzen started eleventh and managed his way to third. Rich Smith was fourth, with Greg Durbin fifth.
Jeremy Marquette capped off his championship season with the feature win in the Street Stocks. After starting seventh on the grid, Marquette took the lead from Donnie Louck on lap six. Jeremy would cruise to the checkers for the win.
Cary Brown also passed Louck for second and closed in on the leader but would finish in the runner-up position. Louck finished third, ahead of Phil Anderson and Chuck Fox.
Aaron Hitt put the hurt on the 4 Stock field in their 12-lap main. Ryan Walker got out to the early race lead before yielding to Ricky Kay. Kay built up a big lead before his car slowed on lap nine. Mike Goben held the lead briefly, with Hitt leading the last couple laps and taking the checkered flag. Goben would finish second. Walker, Mike Morrow, and Jason Blocker rounded out the top five.
The management and staff of DRT TRAK Racing would like to thank everyone who attended or participated at the Davenport Speedway in 2011, and hope to see all of you back next season.

Track champions dominate Season Championship night at Davenport
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (August 26, 2011) – It was Season Championship night, Friday at the Davenport Speedway. Three of the four point leaders capped their titles by winning in the season finale.
Ray Guss Jr., with a rare opportunity to start in the front row, rocketed out to a fair large lead in the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models feature. Guss looked to be unstoppable, until the race’s first and only caution flew on lap 22. On the restart, Ray maintained his lead and drove to his third victory of the year at Davenport, and his third straight track championship.
Nate Bueseling and Stephan Kammerer were locked in a tight battle for second, throughout much of the race. The race and the point standings finished the same way, with Bueseling second, Kammerer third. Matt Ryan came home in fourth. Terry Neal rounded out the top five, after starting last.
Guss, Marty Diercks, and Joe Ross won the late model heats.
The EMS IMCA Modifieds came into the night with five drivers still with a mathematical shot at the track championship. However, Bob Dominacki had only one number on his mind, #1. Dominacki, by being the point leader, started on the pole and led all twenty laps, of the caution-free race. The victory was his sixth feature win on the season.
Thad Wilson started fourth in the feature and quickly got behind the leader, but had to settle for a second place finish. Dean McGee finished a great season at Davenport with a third place, followed by Matt Stein and John Ahlers.
It was not a night for leaders in the Koehler Electric Street Stock main. Point leader, Jeremy Marquette led the first two laps of the race, but made a trip to the pits during the race’s first caution on lap three. Emily Gade grabbed the lead on the restart, but her car erupted in smoke as she crossed the stripe to complete lap five.
The ensuing restart saw Cary Brown lead only one lap before yielding to Phil Anderson. On lap twelve, Marquette roared back into the lead and captured his eighth win in twelve starts this year along with the track championship.
Brown would also get around Anderson to finish second, while Andrew Burk and Henry Carson completed the top five.
Chris James was the only non-champion to collect a feature win on Friday. James took his fourth LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stock win on the season. However it was second place finisher Wade Dahl, who came away with the championship. James took the lead from Dahl on lap four, and never looked back. Luke Thurness posted a third place and was followed by Brandon Dahl and Nick Bennett.
The next race at the Davenport Speedway will be the All-Star Classic on Friday, September 9th. The All Star Classic will be run on the historic half-mile track. The event will feature the Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models. Also racing will be IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and 4 Stocks.

DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY
Blum, Beal, and Thurness score Davenport wins
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (August 19, 2011) – With the regular season drawing to a close, the battle for points and tempers were heated Friday night at the Davenport Speedway. When the final checkered flag fell, there were three first time winners in victory lane.
The Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models put on an excellent show for the crowd. Pole sitter Bart Miller led lap one, with fellow front row starter, Leroy Brenner taking over on lap two. Brenner would lead until lap 18, when Kevin Blum took away the top spot. Blum’s lead would be short, as Ray Guss Jr. rocketed to the front on the high side.
As the lead duo approached lapped traffic, the slower cars were in Guss’ line. Blum would retake the lead on lap 23 and drive on to the victory, his first at Davenport this season. Guss would settle for second, with Marty Diercks third, Doug Nigh fourth, and Terry Neal fifth.
Miller, Guss, and Nate Bueseling won the heats.
There was another surprise early race leader in the EMS IMCA Modified feature. Craig Crawford from the outside pole, led until halfway in the 20-lap main. While in the lead, Crawford was working hard to hold off a charging Doug Crampton.
A lap ten caution reset the field and after the restart, Joe Beal would make his move. Beal took the point on lap eleven, and would fend off Crampton all the way to the checkers. Crampton finished second, with Matt Stein third, Bob Dominacki fourth, and Brian Bushong rounding out the top five.
Jeremy Marquette racked up another win in the Koehler Electric Street Stock class. Marquette’s seventh win on the season was probably the most unusual. Attrition and wrecks eliminated six of the eight starters by lap six. Marquette outdistanced Bryan Ritter the rest of the way to the finish.
LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stocks were not to be outdone in their feature. Chris James grabbed the early lead, going from fifth to first on lap one. Luke Thurness took the lead on lap seven, with Wade Dahl coming around to lead lap eight. These three drivers would battle for the lead over the next four laps, going three-wide several times.
At the checkers it was Thurness picking up his first official Davenport win of the season, with Chris James second and point leader Wade Dahl third. Brandon Dahl was fourth, with Steve Unzel fifth.
Powder Puff races were held as an added attraction. Ashley Claussen, Holly Wilson and Anna James were the winners.
Next Friday night, August 26th, is Season Championship night at the Davenport Speedway.

Full Moon makes for wild finishes at Davenport Speedway
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (August 12, 2011) – The Davenport Speedway roared back into action Friday night, after a two week hiatus for the Mississippi Valley Fair. The beautiful full moon in the summer night sky was generous to some and a bad omen to others.
The Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature was hard on top contenders, as Ray Guss Jr., Terry Neal, and Nate Bueseling all failed to reach the checkers.
The race started with pole sitter Chad Patch leading the first two laps. After a lap three caution, Bart Miller jumped out front. Miller would hold the top spot until late into the race, when he came under attack from Matt Ryan on the bottom and Stephan Kammerer on the high side. On the final lap contact between the leaders allowed Kammerer to go by on the high side and collect his second feature win of the season at Davenport. Ryan would recover to finish second, followed by Miller, Mike Zemo Jr., and Jeff Stevens, in that order.
Pole sitter, Todd Dykema, would also grab the early lead in the EMS IMCA Modified feature. Dykema led the first seven laps, before yielding to Mitch Morris. Morris led a handful of laps, before handing the lead to Bob Dominacki. Morris would pull into the infield a lap later.
Dominacki would drive to his fifth feature win of the year. IMCA Modified point leader, Brian Webb finished second, right in Dominacki’s tire tracks. John Ahlers took third, with Chuck Hanna and Dean McGee rounding out the top five.
In the first feature of the evening was the Koehler Electric Street Stock main. Once again the pole sitter, Josh Starr, led the first three laps of the race. A restart on lap four saw Emily Gade take the point and lead until lap eleven. On lap eleven, Gade’s car came to a stop in turn two, bringing out the caution flag.
Jeremy Marquette would come away from the caution with the lead and take his sixth feature win of the season. RJ Gonzales scored a second place finish, with Bryan Ritter a strong third. Henry Carson and Starr were fourth and fifth respectively. Only six cars reached the checkers.
The LuJack’s 4 Stock feature was the last of the evening, but possibly the most exciting. This time outside pole sitter, Chris James led the first nine laps of the 12-lapper. Ken Poole took the lead on lap ten and looked in position to take his first feature win of the year.
On the final lap, coming out of turn two, Poole got tagged from behind and turned sideways in front of the second and third place cars. Somehow, the trio managed not to wreck themselves or anyone else.

Back to business at the Davenport Speedway

DAVENPORT, Iowa (August 9, 2011) – After the annual break for the Great Mississippi Valley Fair, the Davenport Speedway will roar back into action this Friday, August 12th. With just three point races remaining in the season, the battles for the 2011 track championships will be hotly contested.
The Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model season is becoming a tussle between two drivers. Defending track and IMCA national late model champion, Ray Guss Jr. (Milan, Ill.), trails Nate Bueseling of Silvis by only four points. Both drivers have captured two feature wins in the nine races held this season.
While the late model point race is tight, the Engineering Maintenance Service IMCA Modifieds are in a battle royale. Five drivers, Doug Crampton, Dean McGee, Thad Wilson, Bob Dominacki, and Brian Webb are all within eleven points. Dominacki, with five victories, trails point leader Webb by a single point, while Wilson trails Webb by two points.
The Koehler Electric Street Stock class is led by Jeremy Marquette of Davenport, with five feature wins. Cary Brown is second, 16 points back, and has one feature win.
The LuJack Auto Plaza 4 Stock class has again led the way with the most disqualifications this season. Wade Dahl has two victories and leads the points. Second place Luke Thurness is eleven markers back.
The racing action will return to the Davenport Speedway quarter-mile dirt oval on Friday, August 12th. That evening will be Kids Back to School Night.
The August 19th racing program will include Powder Puff Races. The 2011 Season Championships will be run on Friday, August 26th.
The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street, in Davenport. Pit gates at The Davenport Speedway open at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30pm and racing starts at 7pm.

Three new winners at Davenport
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (July 22, 2011) – Warm temperatures and even hotter racing action could be found Friday night at the Davenport Speedway. And it didn’t take long for the action to heat up. In the very first heat race of the evening, Street Stock point leader, Jeremy Marquette was three-wide going down the backstretch and ended up flipping off turn three. Jeremy escaped without serious injury, his racecar was not so lucky.
Jeff Stevens of Davenport led the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature flag to flag for his first feature win of the season. Stevens blistered the field despite a caution flag at lap ten which drew the field to his back bumper.
Mike Zemo Jr. challenged Stevens for the lead a couple of times before getting involved in a three-car battle for second. Zemo would finish in the runner-up spot with Nate Bueseling third, and Joe Ross fourth. Brian Harris nipped Ray Guss Jr., at the finish line for fifth.
Bueseling, Harris, and Guss were late model heat winners.
John Ahlers picked up his first feature win of the season in the EMS IMCA Modified division. Mike Fluegel took the early race lead from the pole position and led the first nine laps. Ahlers grabbed the lead from Fluegel on the high side and didn’t look back.
A caution flag on the final lap for a back marker, gave second to Brian Webb. Matt Stein finished third, ahead of Mitch Morris and Fluegel. Modified heat wins went to Ahlers, Webb, and Doug Crampton.
Timmy Current captured his second Koehler Electric Street Stock feature win. Current started ninth and took the lead from Emily Gade on lap eight of the fifteen lap race. Current would race on and easily take the checkers ahead of Chris Lawrence, who finished second. RJ Gonzales crossed the line third, but was later disqualified. That moved Emily Gade, Cary Brown, and Donnie Louck into third through fifth respectively. Jeremy Marquette came back from his heat race accident to finish the feature ninth, in Tim Hazen’s car.
A mad scramble on the first lap of the Lujack Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stock feature saw Gene Potter come away with the lead. Potter worked hard to hold off a gaggle of cars that were trying to grab the top spot. But on this night, he was no match for Ross Neal. Neal, making his first visit to Davenport this season, would not be denied a place in the winner’s circle. Potter would hold on for second, with Mitch Bielenberg making a late race charge for third. Ken Poole and Wade Dahl completed the top five.
The racetrack at the Davenport Speed way will be idle the next two weeks due to the Mississippi Valley Fair. The next race will be Friday, August 12th, ‘Back to School-Kids Night’.

Dominacki 3-Peats in Davenport Mods
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (July 15, 2011) – Beautiful weather and great racing were in surplus at the Davenport Speedway, Friday, for Kile Motorsports Night. Victory lane saw two repeat winners, one three-peat winner, and a new but familiar face before the night was over.
The Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature saw veteran racer Leroy Brenner lead the first nineteen laps after starting on the outside of the front row. On lap twenty, Nate Bueseling, who started mid-pack, finally got inside Brenner and led the remaining laps to take the checkered flag. The win was his second of the season at Davenport.
Jeff Stevens would also get by Brenner in the final laps to take second, with Brenner finishing third. Marty Diercks would finish fourth, ahead of Ray Guss Jr., in fifth. Stevens and Terry Neal were IMCA Late Model heat winners.
Bob Dominacki stayed perfect for the month of July at the Davenport Speedway. Dominacki scored his third straight win in the EMS IMCA Modified division. Dominacki took the lead after a lap four restart and led the rest of the way to the checkers. The win was Bob’s fourth of the season.
Mitch Morris was the only driver to get close to Dominacki, finishing second, about ten car lengths behind. Doug Crampton, John Ahlers, and Joe Beal completed the top five, in that order. Modified heat wins went to Morris, Ahlers, and Joe Jones Jr.
Jeremy Marquette racked up his fifth feature win in eight races in the Koehler Electric Street Stock class. His fifth victory was far from an easy one. Four other drivers held the race lead before the race boiled down to a battle between Marquette and RJ Gonzales.
The two raced side-by-side for several laps. Marquette finally started to pull away in the final laps for the win. Gonzales held on for second, with Chris Lawrence third, Emily Gade fourth, and Jerry Pratt fifth.
Joe Zrostlik rolled his #z50 out of the mothballs and once again found the winner’s circle. Zrostlik started tenth in the Lujacks 4 Stock feature and by lap four had found the lead. Zrostlik cruised to an easy win, while the battle was going on behind him for second.
Luke Thurness emerged from the pack to the position, over Gene Potter, who finished third. Point leader Wade Dahl was fourth with Ken Poole fifth.
Next Friday, July 22nd, is the final race at the Davenport Speedway, before the break for the Mississippi Valley Fair.

Guss and Dominacki repeat at Davenport
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (July 8, 2011) – It was a picture perfect night for racing at the Davenport Speedway and the drivers in all four classes put on an excellent show for the fans.
The Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model class finally saw its first repeat winner of the 2011 season, as Ray Guss Jr., made it back to back wins. The late model feature started with pole sitter Travis Denning leading the first six laps of the race. Stephan Kammerer would lead lap seven, before Guss blasted into the lead a lap later. Despite two late race cautions, Guss would cruise to victory.
Gary Webb started second, fell back a few positions, and made a late race charge to finish second. Matt Ryan was third, with Nate Bueseling fourth, and Kammerer fifth. Late model heat wins went to Guss, Ryan, and Andy Nezworski.
Bob Dominacki also scored back to back wins in the EMS IMCA Modifieds. Todd Dykema jumped out to the early lead of the mod feature, but then brought out the race’s first caution on lap three. On the restart, Matt Stein took over the lead and would hold it until lap nine, when Dominacki grabbed the point. Dominacki would lead the remaining laps en route to the checkered flag. The win was Bob’s third of the season at Davenport.
Joe Beal drove to a solid second place finish, with Stein, Thad Wilson, and Brian Webb rounding out the top five. Dominacki, Beal, and Dykema were modified heat winners.
Jeremy Marquette picked off feature win number four in the Koehler Electric Street Stocks. Marquette went to the lead after a lap five caution, and led the rest of the way for the win. Early race leader, Andrew Burk, finished second, ahead of Chris Lawrence. Cary Brown recovered from an early caution to finish fourth, with Tony VonDresky, in the #00, fifth.
Two caution flags waved before a lap was scored in the LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stock feature. Once the race went green, Aaron Hitt was the man to beat. Hitt would lead all 12 laps for the win, his first victory at Davenport this year. Wade Dahl would get to Hitt’s bumper, but no further, finishing second. Steven Phillips was third, followed by Luke Thurness and Mike Morrow.

Four new winners at Davenport Mid-Season
by Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (June 24, 2011) – Stock car racing action finally returned to the quarter-mile oval at the Davenport Speedway for the Casey’s General Stores Mid-Season Championships. An exciting night of racing yielded four first-time winners for 2011.
Joe Ross, of Thomson, Ill., took a dramatic win in the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature. Ross grabbed the lead from Leroy Brenner on lap five of the 25-lap main. Ross cruised through the middle portion of the race, until he was reeled in by Mike Murphy Jr. Murphy tried Ross on both the high and low side, but to no avail.
Ross took his first feature win since returning from modifieds to the late model ranks. Murphy finished second with Stephan Kammerer third, Matt Ryan fourth, and Andy Eckrich fifth. Ross, Murphy, and Kevin Blum won late model heats. Justin Kay won the consi. Boone McLaughlin rolled his racecar in the consi, but was okay.
Matt Stein scored his first feature win on the season, in the EMS IMCA Modified division. Stein started on the pole and led the distance, despite several restarts, which kept bringing the field to his rear bumper.
Brian Webb continued his recent hot streak. Webb was mired around fifth or sixth for much of the race, but made a late race charge to earn a runner-up finish. Brian Bushong was sixth at the race’s final restart, but also made a late charge to take third. Mike Fluegel and Doug Crampton rounded out the top five.
For the first time in recent memory, a female stood in victory lane after a points race at Davenport. Emily Gade, of Clarence, Ia., dominated the Koehler Electric Street Stock feature. Gade started the race in the fourth position and took the lead on lap two, of the 15-lap race. Emily would survive two restarts and lead the remaining laps en route to the win.
RJ Gonzales was involved in an early race caution, but came back through the field to grab second on the final lap. Cary Brown was third, with Chris Lawrence fourth, and Henry Carson fifth.
The LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stocks may have saved the best race of the night for the last race of the night. With three and four-wide racing in the pack, the feature looked to be going green-white-checkered, but the race’s only caution came out on the final lap. DAVENPORT  SPEEDWAY

Buesling dominates Davenport late models

by  Mike McGuire
DAVENPORT, Ia. (May 13, 2011) – As rain dotted most of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois on Friday the 13th, one place it couldn’t be found is the Davenport Speedway. Despite cloudy and cool conditions, the racing program went off without a hitch.
The high side was the place to start the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature. The outside starters in the first three rows, Nate Buesling, Ray Guss Jr., and Andy Eckrich, quickly moved away from the remainder of the field.
The three leaders were in lapped traffic by lap eleven. On lap 15, Guss encountered a lapped car, which sent Ray into a tire barrier and ended his night.
Buesling was able to fend off Eckrich on the restart and led the entire 25 laps for the win. Eckrich finished second, with Brian Harris third. Justin Kay was fourth and Jeremy Gustaf, who started fourteenth, finished fifth.
IMCA late model heat wins went to Guss, Eckrich, and Harris. Stephan Kammerer won the semi.
Jake Waterman posted his first EMS IMCA Modified victory of the season. Waterman started inside third row, but took the race lead from Joe Beal on lap three and never looked back.
It was a real battle for the second spot, throughout the race. Brian Webb finally got around Doug Crampton late to claim second, with Crampton third. Thad Wilson fought his way through the field after an early race caution to finish fourth, while pole-sitter Dan Klatt took fifth.
Beal, Crampton, and Webb won the IMCA Modified heats. Mitch Morris won the semi-feature.
The closest race of the night was the Koehler Electric Street Stock main. Rob Henry led lap one with RJ Gonzales taking over a lap later. Gonzales had a comfortable lead, when cautions would re-group the field.
Jeremy Marquette took advantage of the restarts and powered his way into the lead, briefly. Tim Current drove around Marquette and led two laps, before Marquette would return the favor. Marquette went on to take the victory with Current a close second, and Gonzales third. Cary Brown and Rob Henry rounded out the top five.
Jacob Ellithorpe won the LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stock feature on his first visit to the speedway this year. Jason Blocker led the race early, before Ellithorpe could move up from his third row starting spot to the lead. Aaron Hitt used the high side to take the lead on lap five, with Ellithorpe coming back to the lead on lap seven. Ellithorpe  managed to extend his lead and drove on to the win. Hitt settled for second with Wade Dahl third.
The vintage coupes were on hand Friday to bring back fond memories of yesterday and try their hand at the Davenport quarter-mile oval. Chris Gilmore captured both the heat and feature wins.
Exciting stock car racing action returns to the speedway next Friday night for the regular weekly program. In two weeks, on May 27th, the IMCA Modified Shootout comes to the Davenport Speedway. The 40-lap modified feature will pay $2,000-to-win. The other weekly classes will also be racing on that evening.

DAVENPORT, Ia. (May 6, 2011) – The Davenport Speedway finally got into high gear Friday night with the running of the Koehler Electric Season Opener. The evening was marked with a number of rememberances for individuals connected to the speedway, that passed away recently. The list included Hershel Roberts, who was laid to rest earlier in the day.
Going into the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Model feature, Ray Guss Jr., driving the Roberts family owned #58 had to be a sentimental favorite. However it was Brian Harris that got out to an early lead from his front row starting spot. Harris was still leading at the midway point of the race, while Guss had moved from fifth to third, behind Nate Buesling. Guss would pass Buesling a couple laps later and drive up to Harris’ rear bumper.
Guss was unable to mount a pass for the lead, as Harris took the checkers. Guss finished second, with Buesling holding on for third. Doug Nigh and Stephan Kammerer rounded out the top five.
Late model heat race wins went to Guss, Terry Neal, and Rob Toland. Mike Garland won the consi.
The EMS IMCA Modified feature became a showcase for one of the division’s newest drivers, Thad Wilson. Wilson took the lead from pole sitter Casey Voss on lap three of the twenty lap main. Wilson would go untouched for the remaining laps for the win. Brian Webb was closing on Wilson at the end, but would settle for second. Mitch Morris finished third, ahead of John Ahlers and Voss.
Wilson, Voss, and Doug Crampton won the Modified heats. Matt Stein won the consi.
The Koehler Electric Street Stock main was the first feature of the night, to hit the track. RJ Gonzales led the first lap from the pole, before going side by side with Jeremy Marquette for several laps. Marquette would take the lead and drive away for his first win of the season. Gonzales would hold on for second. Cary Brown, Emily Gade, and Joe Bonney completed the top five.
The LuJacks Northpark Auto Plaza 4 Stock feature was anybody’s race. Chris James jumped out to the early lead and looked unbeatable. Just past the midway point, James slowed and pulled off the track. Wade Dahl led late in the race until he too started to slow. Aaron Hitt took over the point and took the checkered flag.
However Hitt was disqualified in post-race inspection. The victory went to Wade Dahl, with Luke Thurness second and Jason Blocker third.
