Two nights of racing action put two different Lucas Oil ASCS drivers in Victory Lane. Friday night started off with 66 Sprint cars on hand, and 25 of the areas top Sport Mods. Tim Crawley put his 88 machine in ASCS Victory Lane, and Shawn Strong parked his #14 Allen Autosports Sport Mod there as well. Congratulations to both drivers on their success Friday night.

With the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters National championship points race tightening up, the series ventures to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO, for the Jesse Hockett / Daniel McMillin Memorial event this weekend.

And, for the first time, this year's Hockett / McMillin Memorial is a two-night event at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" with a full slate of action on both Friday night and Saturday night following a Thursday practice session from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This weekend's action marks the first time for the Hockett / McMillin Memorial to be hosted by Lucas Oil Speedway. Jason Johnson topped the initial three Daniel McMillin Memorial features from 2007 to 2009 before Zach Chappell won last year's Hocktt / McMillin main event at Lake Ozark Speedway.

While the Memorial event shifts to Lucas Oil Speedway for the first time, the palace of dirt tracks has hosted the Lucas Oil ASCS National series annually since 2006 with Tim Crawley cracking victory lane last September.

Leading the way into the weekend is Bixby, OK, native Shane Stewart, though his substantial lead shriveled drastically during the series most recent action at Minnesota's Jackson Nationals on August 19-20. While the 2009 series champion had held a 142-point lead, a rough weekend that included his first DNF of the year allowed Albuquerque's Johnny Herrera to cut the gap to just 78 points. Stewart's DNF in the Jackson Nationals finale ended a run of 21 consecutive Lucas Oil Sprint Car top-ten feature finishes dating back to last year.

While Stewart spent this past weekend in Canada trying to defend his Canadian Sprint Car Nationals title, Herrera has spent the past two weekends abusing the ASCS Southwest forces with wins at Canyon Speedway Park and USA Raceway. Tucson's USA Raceway will be the site of the season-ending Lucas Oil Sprint Car event, the Western World Championships, on November 17-19.

While Herrera is 78 points behind Stewart in the title chase, he is also 78 points ahead of third-ranked Jeff Swindell of Bartlett, TX, with Broken Arrow, Oklahoma's Brady Bacon up to fourth in points and Hooks, TX, ace Gary Wright rounding out the current top five.

The balance of the current top ten in Lucas Oil Sprint Car points includes last year's Lucas Oil Speedway feature winner Tim Crawley (Benton, AR), Seth Bergman (Snohomish, WA), leading Brodix Rookie of the Year contender Aaron Reutzel (Clute, TX), Tony Bruce, Jr. (Liberal, KS) and Jason Johnson (Eunice, LA). Just outside the top ten is Talala, Oklahoma's Zach Chappell, last year's Hockett / Memorial feature event winner.

While Jason Johnson is tenth in driver points, his JJR No. 41 entry holds an 86-point edge over the Shane Stewart-driven Paul Silva No. 57 in the owner's portion of the $60,000 championship points chase. After having Kyle Larson and Jack Dover fill in for the initial four events of the season as Johnson finished off Australian duties, "The Ragin' Cajun" has risen to the top of the win charts with five National wins.

This weekend's action also awards Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior points on both nights. Currently, 23-year-old Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO, holds the Warrior lead in his rookie Sprint Car campaign. Loyet holds a 227-point advantage over four-time Warrior champ Randy Martin of California, MO, with the rest of the Warrior top ten including Jonathan Cornell (Sedalia, MO), Kyle Bellm (Nixa, MO), Mark Shirshekan (Farmington, MO), Cody Baker (Lone Jack, MO), Josh Stephens (Buckner, MO), Tyler Blank (California, MO), Austin Alumbaugh (Higginsville, MO) and Miranda Arnold (Sedalia, MO).

This weekend's Hockett / McMillin Memorial will mark just the second time for Sprint Cars to hit the semi-banked, 3/8-mile Lucas Oil Speedway dirt oval this year after Grain Valley, Missouri's Brian Brown rallied from 18th to win a spirited ASCS Warrior main event in June.

Wheatland, MO (September 4, 2011)- On Saturday night two new and one returning Track Champions were crowned. The Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series wrapped up with the final night of points racing for 2011 at Lucas Oil Speedway. Clouds and a few sprinkles did not dampen the on track excitement. Sundance Keepper put his 6 7/8's Monte Carlo in Victory Lane and took home the 2011 Factory Stock Track Championship. In the Pitts Homes A Modifieds, Paul Snyder took the checkers as Mickey Burrell finished 3rd and claimed the Modified Track Championship honors. Both Keepper and Burrell are first time Track Champions. Rylan Long already has two Lucas Oil Speedway Track Championships and reclaimed the title Saturday Night. Long also won the TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Model A Feature in grand fashion.

In the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks a solid field of 28 cars took the track. After running a B feature, 24 cars started the A Main event. Sundance Keepper of Everton, MO started and finished the race out front, securing the 2011 Track Championship. Keepper drives the Sundance Construction 6 7/8 Allen Autosports, Monte Carlo. Congrats to Sundance on a great season and on winning the title. Burl Woods from Republic, MO followed Keeper to the checkers finishing in second. Mark Carter from Warrensburg, MO finished the night in third with Wheatland's own Chip Shaddox in fourth. Shaddox also finished third in the overall points standings. Another hometown driver, Randy Gilmore recovered nicely after struggling the past two weeks. Gilmore finished the night in fifth. James Flood struggled Saturday but remained second in the points championship to finish the season.

In the Pitts Homes A-Modifieds Paul Snyder from Wellsville, KS made a return trip to Victory Lane. Snyder started the race in third and remained in contention throughout the 20 lap feature. After several cautions plagued the event, Snyder eventually took the lead and the checkers. Urbana, Missouri's Colson Kirk started and finished the feature in second place. 2011 Track Champion Mickey Burrell finished third after beginning the feature in eigth. Burrell drives the number 73, orange and white TRE by Bone Modified. Burrell claimed the Championship by 49 points over driver of the "shiny" number 13, Lyle Dietrich. Dietrich ran in the top five Saturday night and finished the feature in the fifth spot. Dennis Walrath from Clinton, MO ran consistent all night finishing the feature in fourth. Congratulations to Burrell on the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Track Championship.

Wheatland, MO (April 30th, 2011)- Brad Loyet out of Sunset Hills, Missouri captured the Inaugural POWRi Lucas Oil Mid-State Missouri Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway Saturday night, after overtaking Zach Daum midway through the race with a tough pass on the outside. Greenfield, Missouri's Rylan Long took top honors in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models while Sundance Keeper rebounded from recent engine issues to take the win in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks.  

Loyet, the 2007 and 2010 POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Champion won for the 53rd time in his career. Chett Gehrke of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Zach Daum of Pocahontas, Illinois waged a thrilling battle for second as Loyet raced to the win with Gehrke taking the second spot and Daum settling for third. Belleville, Illinois' Nick Knepper finished in fourth while Dereck King of Vienna, Illinois crossed the AAA Start/Finish line in the fifth spot.   

Former TNT Quick Shop Late Model Track Champion Rylan Long of Greenfield, Missouri shot to the lead from his second starting position as he dominated the field to claim his first TNT Quick Shop Late Model win on the young season in the Midwest Low-E A-Feature. El Dorado Springs' Larry Jones backed up his win the last time out with a strong second place on Saturday night with Springfield, Missouri's Chris Morelock coming home in third. Monett's Jordan Holloway captured the fourth spot after starting eighth. Defending and 2-time Track Champion Tommy Cordray out of Browning, Missouri started fifth and finished in fifth.  

Action will resume next Saturday, May 7th as Lucas Oil Speedway hosts Coyote 107.9 Night at the Races plus the Second Annual Business Expo on the Vendor Midway as many area business will be hand with lots of giveaways, merchandise, and door prizes. Wheatland, MO (April 26th, 2011)- The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series invades the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday, April 30th for the Inaugural Missouri Mid-State Midget Nationals! Tempe, Arizona's Casey Shuman won the last time the POWRi National Midget Series visited the Lucas Oil Speedway on May 17th, 2008. The "Newport Nightmare" Jimmy Owens holds down the third spot in the season points standings with one win on the season at the 35th Annual DART Winternationals in Florida. Former Multi-Time Champion Earl Pearson Jr. out of Jacksonville, Florida driving the Bobby Labonte Motorsports Lucas Oil Sponsored Longhorn Chassis rides fourth in points with Carpentersville, Illinois' Dennis Erb holding down the final spot in the Top-5.

Winfield, Tennessee's Mike Marlar, Dunnville, Kentucky's Brad Neat, and Clint Bowyer Racing's Dale McDowell out of Chickamauga, Georgia sit in sixth through eighth respectively in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Standings. DART Show-Me 100 weekend gets underway on Thursday, May 26th with the traditional practice night and barbecue. Grandstand admission for Thursday night's practice is FREE. Pit admission is $25 on Thursday night and $35 on Friday and Saturday night. 3-Day Pit Passes will also be available for purchase on Thursday for $95. Family Passes are available on Friday night for $40 and on Saturday night for $50. All Lucas Oil Speedway Tickets are Non-Refundable. Your Show-Me 100 ticket becomes your rain check and can be used a later date on the 2011 schedule. In addition to all of the activities on track, the off-track activities scheduled to appear include the U.S. Air Force Orange County Chopper Tour, the AAA NASCAR Show Car and Simulator display featuring Kurt Busch's AAA sponsored NASCAR Sprint Cup Car, as well as multiple apparel trailers, racing simulators, vendor displays, and a short Fireworks Show on Saturday night. Friday night May 27th will get underway at 7:30 pm and will feature time trials and six heat races for the Super Late Models. The top three finishers in each heat race will move on to Saturday night's main event. The balance of the field in each of the heats will move on to Super Late Model consolation events on Saturday night. The Ohlins Shocks Manufacturers Dash for Cash is scheduled to take place during the Friday night portion of the show in 2011. The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds will be featured as the support class running a complete show on Friday night with $500 going to the winner. The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds will also hold a qualifying session on Friday night to lock in the first 8 rows for Saturday's Main Event. Those that don't qualify in the Top 16 will move on to B-Mains on Saturday night. New Vision Graphics jumps on board as the Presenting Sponsor for both nights of the A-Modifieds.

On Saturday night, May 28th the Comp Cams Race of Champions Presented by Quarter Master and Consolation Events will be held for the Super Late Models in addition to the 100 lap Show-Me finale. Open Wheel Modifieds will be featured as the support class and will compete for $500 to win. Racing action will start at 7:30 following Pre-Race Ceremonies featuring the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Wheatland, MO (April 23rd, 2011)- The Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series event scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd at Lucas Oil Speedway has been cancelled due to heavy showers overnight and into the morning as well as increasing chances of heavy rain and stormy weather throughout the day and evening.  

Lucas Oil Speedway will get back in action next Saturday Night, April 30th with the Missouri Mid-State Midget Nationals as the Lucas Oil POWRi Midgets invade the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" for their only appearance of 2011. Wheatland, MO (April 16th, 2011)- Larry Jones, Tim Setzer, and Derek Brown tamed demanding track conditions this past Saturday Night to grab Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Racing Series Opening Night Wins in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks respectively. With typical cold and wet early April weather handing competitors an extremely fast and less than smooth racing surface, the racing action on the track was fast and furious as the three veterans used their experience to manage their equipment and visit Victory Lane for the first time in 2011.  

In the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, El Dorado Springs, Missouri's Larry Jones earned the pole position by virtue of earning the most passing points in his heat race and never looked back as he survived multiple restarts to hold off Odessa, Missouri's Steven Clancy at the end. Browning, Missouri's Tommy Cordray was third at the finish followed by Greenfield, Missouri's Rylan Long. Neosho's Chris Hawkins rounded out the Top-5 finishing in the fifth position. Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelley was involved in a hard rollover crash just after taking the checkered flag in the main event and was transported and released from a Bolivar area hospital after complaining of upper back pain. Daniel Jessen was also involved in a very hard head on crash after having his throttle stick earlier in the main event. Jessen was OK but the car suffered heavy damage.   

Archie, Missouri's Tim Setzer fought a torrid battle with Springfield, Missouri's Jeremy Payne throughout the main event in the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds to score his first win of 2011. Payne settled for second at the finish. Wheatland, Missouri's Jason Pursley drove his bright yellow modified to a third place finish after starting in the seventh spot. Jackie Dalton out of Carthage, Missouri made a rare appearance at Lucas Oil Speedway to finish in fourth followed by NitroCult Racing's David Hendrix out of Laquey, Missouri. Carthage, Missouri's Darrell Jackson took a wild tumble in turns 1 and 2 but was able to walk away from the crash.  

Sundance Keepper led the early going in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks and appeared to be the dominant car on the evening, but he began to slow allowing Derek Brown and Randy Gilmore to slip by. Almost immediately after losing the lead, Keepper went up in a plume of smoke in Turns 3 and 4 ending his night. On the ensuing restart, Derek Brown in the black #11 held off a fast closing Randy Gilmore on a green, white checkered finish to grab the win in the opening night of competition in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks. Gilmore held on for second at the stripe. Clever, Missouri's Steve Morton crossed the AAA Start/Finish Line in the third spot at the end with Michael Plummer and Dan Rodabaugh rounding out the Top-5 in fourth and fifth respectively.   

Lucas Oil Speedway will be back in action next Saturday, April 23rd as all three classes in the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series will be racing including the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Models. Gates will open at 5:00 with Hot Laps at 7:00, and racing at 7:30. Adults (16 and up) are just $12, Seniors (62 and up) are only $8, and Youth (6-15) are admitted for $5, Kids (5 and under) FREE. Wheatland, MO (April 9th, 2011)- As unseasonably warm temperatures greeted race fans making their way to the Lucas Oil Speedway for the first time in 2011, the action on the track was even hotter as Mount Vernon, Iowa's Chad Simpson topped a huge 55 car Lucas Oil MLRA field enroute to his second career MLRA win. In the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, Mark Dotson drove his bright blue #85d GRT by Phillips Chassis to a convincing win over former Lucas Oil Speedway Track Champion Jamie Ragland.  

With Simpson holding the field at bay working lap traffic, Galena, Missouri's Jesse Stovall made his way up to the second spot at the finish in his Steve Rushin owned Larry Shaw Race Car. Lebanon, Missouri's Brandon McCormick led the way for the GRT's coming across the AAA Start/Finish line in the third spot at the finish followed by Team Custard, Jeremy Payne and Terry Phillips in fourth and fifth respectively. Greenbrier, Arkansas' Jack Sullivan wheeled his GRT House Car to a sixth place showing as 6-time MLRA Champion Alan Vaughn took the seventh spot in the final rundown. Al Purkey out of Coffeyville, KS, Kyle Berck from Marquette, NE, and R.C. Whitwell all the way from Tucson, AZ rounded out the Top-10.

Al Purkey scored his first ever Lucas Oil Speedway MLRA win at last season's Lucas Oil Speedway opener on his way to his Seventh MLRA title. 48 Cars jammed the pit area at last Saturday's Lucas Oil MLRA Season Opening Event at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska as Republic, Missouri's Brad Looney scored his first MLRA win in almost 10 seasons. Marquette, Nebraska's Kyle Berck followed Looney across the stripe to finish in the second spot with Chris and Chad Simpson finishing in third and fourth respectively. Oxford, Iowa's Denny Eckrich scored a solid Top-5 finish as he rallied to finish in the fifth spot. Defending Lucas Oil MLRA Champion Al Purkey was sixth followed by Springfield, Missouri veteran Terry Phillips in seventh. Adrian, Missouri's David Turner was eighth at the finish followed by 2010 Lucas Oil Speedway Pitt's Homes A-Modified Champion Jesse Stovall in ninth and former multi-time MLRA Champion Alan Vaughn in tenth.  

Coffeyville, Kansas' veteran Al Purkey captured the 2010 MLRA Championship by just two points over Republic, Missouri's Brad Looney in a battle that came down to the wire in the season finale. Both veteran Late Model drivers are expected to once again vie for the coveted Lucas Oil MLRA Championship in 2011. Oxford, Iowa's Dave Eckrich challenged the leaders throughout the season but faded to third at the finish while Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Joe Kosiski finished up 2010 with a strong fourth place finish. Springfield, Missouri ace Terry Phillips came home in fifth place in the final 2010 standings. Rounding out the Top-10 were Phillip's teammate Jeremy Payne in sixth, Cross Timbers, Missouri Rookie of the Year Evan Hubert in seventh, Birch Tree, Missouri's Justin Asplin in eighth, Henderson, Colorado's Kelly Boen in ninth, and Omaha, Nebraska's Bill Koons in tenth.

Wheatland, MO (March 29th, 2011)- The Annual Pre-Season Test and Tune is set to take place this Saturday April 2nd, at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Pit Gates are set to open at 10:00am with open practice scheduled from Noon until approximately 6pm. The Two-Day Rex Merritt Racing School will also take place this weekend with classroom sessions on Saturday starting at 9:00am and on track activities on Sunday also scheduled to begin at 9am. Technical Inspectors and Officials will be on hand for Pre-Season Technical Inspection.

The Lucas Oil MLRA event is the first of a long list of huge events scheduled for 2011 at Lucas Oil Speedway. The first "Rockstar Energy Drink Championship Series" race takes place on April 16th, as the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks all begin their chase for the Lucas Oil Speedway Season Championship. The 2nd Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Series race takes place on Saturday, April 23rd followed by the The POWRi National Midget Series Missouri Mid-State Nationals on Saturday, April 30th.

The month of May kicks off with the first of three big Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Series Races on Saturday, May 7th along with the 2nd Annual Business Expo and the first of two appearances in 2011 by the Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racing Series. May 14th and May 21st also feature the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks as the three week swing really sets the stage for the season long points battle. The biggest race of the season kicks off on May 26th as the 19th Annual DART Show-Me 100 rolls into Wheatland for the second time after capacity crowds jammed the facility in 2010. The traditional Thursday night practice and barbecue takes place on May 26th while Late Model Qualifying, Heat Races, and a full A-Mod Show takes place on Friday, May 27th. The high octane Winged Sprint Cars of the Lucas Oil ASCS Warrior Region blow into town on June 18th as Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps Presents the ASCS Winged Warrior Showdown. The newly added Rockstar Energy Drink Mid-Season Championships take place on June 25th as the Mid-Season Champion will be crowned on a special Double Points night. June wraps up with a Special Thursday Night Thunder Edition of Weekly racing Presented by Nemo Quarry on Thursday, June 30th as we also will be kicking off the Independence Day Celebration with the area's first huge fireworks show of the season.

We take a break on July 2nd so fans can spend time with their families at the local fireworks shows, but racing resumes on Saturday, July 9th as our weekly drivers continue their Championship battle. The second biggest Late Model race of the season hits the track on July 16th as the "The Newport Nightmare" Jimmy Owens and the rest of the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series come to town for the 5th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals.  

Quite possibly the biggest weekend in the history of the Speedway takes place on July 29th-31st as the first ever Diamond Drag Boat Nationals take to the Liquid Quarter Mile for the first time ever. This Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series National Event is highlighted by Top Fuel Hydro Boats capable of reaching speeds in excess of 250 miles per hour. A full compliment of Sportsman and Pro Classes will be in action all three days as Friday, July 29th is scheduled as a "Test and Tune" day followed by Qualifying on Saturday, July 30th, and Eliminations on Sunday, July 31st. The Casey's General Stores USMTS Modified HUNT for the National Championship rolls into town on Saturday, August 13th along with the SportMods, and the Factory Stocks. A staple on the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters championship trail with a single-night event in recent years, this year's stop atop the 3/8-mile Lucas Oil Speedway will be a multi-night affair in remembrance of Jesse Hockett and crew chiefing cousin Daniel McMillin.

After a practice session on Thursday night, September 22, two full nights of Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters National competition will ensue on Friday and Saturday, September 23-24.

Just a half hour or so from the heart of the Hockett Nation, Warsaw, MO, Wheatland's Lucas Oil Speedway has been the site of some classic Lucas Oil ASCS tilts in recent years with Tim Crawley making a late move this past September to join past "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" Lucas Oil ASCS winners Shane Stewart (2009), Jason Johnson (2008) and Brian Brown (2006).  The Lucas Oil Speedway event scheduled for 2007 fell victim to rain.

While this year's Hockett/McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway will be a multi-night event for the first time, four previous versions of the event have taken place as single-night cards at other tracks.

California, Missouri's Double X Raceway hosted the inaugural Daniel McMillin Memorial in 2007 before the event shifted to Lake Ozark Speedway for the next three years.  The event became the Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial for the first time in 2010 after Hockett's tragic passing earlier in the year.

Reigning Lucas Oil ASCS National champion Jason Johnson topped the initial three editions of the Memorial event, with 2001 series champ Zach Chappell winning the 2010 event.

Coming off a banner 2010 season, the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters National Series is currently slated for 39 nights of racing action at 18 different tracks throughout the nation with several other dates under negotiation.  The country's top Sprint Car drivers, led by two-time and reigning series champion Jason Johnson of Eunice, LA, are set to battle it out for their share of the $250,000 points fund, with $60,000 going to the 2011 champion.

In its 20^th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing, the American Sprint Car Series brings the best of Sprint Car racing to approximately 100 different tracks throughout 30 states and Canada.  Anchored by the Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters, ASCS also consists of ten different Regions throughout the nation.

Brasstown, North Carolina's Ray Cook took home top honors in 2010 to capture his second career Show-Me 100 triumph.

In addition to all of the activities on track, the off-track activities scheduled to appear include a U.S. Air Force Display, the AAA NASCAR Show Car and Simulator display featuring Kurt Busch's AAA sponsored NASCAR Sprint Cup Car, as well as multiple apparel trailers, racing simulators, vendor displays, and a short Fireworks Show on Saturday night. A driver autograph session will take place on the vendor Midway on Saturday afternoon prior to the on track activities.  A Show-Me 100 would not be complete without "Gus the Mule" and fans won't be disappointed as Gus will be in attendance all weekend.

Friday night May 27th will get underway at 7:30 pm and will feature time trials and six heat races for the Super Late Models plus the Ohlins Shocks Manufacturers Dash. The top three finishers in each heat race will move on to Saturday night's main event. The balance of the field in each of the heats will move on to Super Late Model consolation events on Saturday night. The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds will be featured as the support class running a complete show on Friday night with $500 going to the winner. The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds will also hold a qualifying session on Friday night to set the first 8 rows for Saturday's Main Event. Those that don't qualify in the Top 16 will move on to B-Mains on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, the Comp Cams Race of Champions Presented by Quarter Master, and Consolation Events will be held for the Super Late Models in addition to the 100 lap Show-Me finale. Open Wheel Modifieds will be featured as the support class and will compete for $500 to win. Racing action will start at 7:30 following Pre-Race Ceremonies.  

Lucas Oil Speedway also offers a picturesque camping area with brand new Shower and Bathroom facilities built in 2009. All Dry camping is FREE for this event in 2011 and includes the use of the shower and bathroom facilities. Dry Camping spots will be on a first come first served basis. A limited number of spots with water and electric have already been sold out and are not available for this event.

Wheatland, MO (January 11th, 2011) - Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri and Representatives from Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield, Missouri are excited to announce a new and improved GM Crate Engine Incentive Program for 2011. This program applies to all drivers utilizing a Factory Sealed GM 602 or 604 Crate Engine in the TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Model Class at Lucas Oil Speedway in 2011. "We really applaud Reliable Chevrolet for stepping up their program for 2011." stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson. "This updated program will now give a driver the opportunity to win $1,000 per night if they capture the Feature Win with a GM Crate Engine purchased at Reliable Chevrolet."

A $300 bonus will be paid to the highest finishing driver utilizing a Factory Sealed GM Crate Engine if the engine was purchased at Reliable Chevrolet and has not been rebuilt. An extra $100 will go to the second highest finishing driver utilizing a Factory Sealed GM Crate Engine purchased at Reliable Chevrolet. By combining the standard $700 to win plus the $300 bonus, a win in a Crate Engine car could be worth as much as $1,000 in 2011.

If a driver is the highest finishing driver utilizing a GM Factory Sealed Engine but was not an engine purchased at Reliable Chevrolet, the driver will still earn $100, while a second driver could earn an extra $50 if they are the second highest finisher running a GM Factory Sealed Engine but not purchased at Reliable Chevrolet. There will only be two awards given per night, Lucas Oil Speedway Officials and Reliable Chevrolet Representives will determine the authenticity of the place of purchase through serial numbers and purchase documentation to determine the level of awards on a nightly basis.

The winner of the bonus money each night must pass a thorough Technical Inspection and be deemed Legal by the Lucas Oil Speedway Technical Staff prior to receiving the bonus. This money will be paid on top of any standard Lucas Oil Speedway winnings that night. There are 15 scheduled races this season in the TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Model class.
